How do you like it? I've had my eye on one fore a while, but haven't been sold on what I've read about it.

I handled one...for me, at 6'4", it was incredibly cramped in terms of how short it was. Also, buying it as anything other than an SBR or a rifle with a permanently attached suppressor (bringing it to 16") seems....wrong.

Expensive ammo and mags, too.

I like how the rear section of the gun was already a useless hunk of plastic, and then they add that big dumb civvy barrel. What are the pros of a P90? ROF and maneuverability. Nothing else.

...better known on the PS90 as 'nothing.' Period. Not one single pro. It may as well be a pistol with a plastic 'carbine' kit wrapped around it.

A 9mm Keltec or Hi-Point carbine is a less stupid buy. Sorry.

(oh, and I forgot the other pro: the armor piercing ammo that you can't buy. But don't let that dissuade you from believing the claims of Five-Seven and PS90 enthusiasts; yep, 5.7mm ammo will totally out-penetrate 5.56 and give you a handjob while doing it)

Yeah it is quite cramped. Although my wife really liked it. It is the only carbine that she can properly shoulder. For what it usually costs, at your height probably the Tavor will be a better fit esp with a Giselle trigger..

Stupid buy? I bought it for a number of different reasons, none of which had to do with "5.7mm ammo out penetrating 5.56mm ammo" or any of your other insinuations.

Besides, it wasn't that expensive for me ($830).

Anyway, I just got it so I haven't taken it to the range. Intending to sometime in the next two weeks once I get some time. Will try to report back afterwards.

I can get one for the same price (roughly, whatever the LEO price is) and really want one but the ammo price/scarcity keeps me from doing so. Let us know how the trigger is, I've seen a lot of negatives on it. The P90 SBR would be really awesome but the ammo scares me away.

I like it.

The level of elitism in this thread has drove me away. It's the select few putting down every other person and their choices. So don't sweat it man...I like your choice and look forward to a range report if it's in a different thread.

Nice! Price I've seen is 1700$ as long as you have plenty of ammo to feed, you're range time is gonna be fun fun fun! Low recoil, 50 round magazine, rapid fire stress relief!

God damn elitists recommending run-of-the-mill $100-300 guns over FN wallhangers.

5.7mm weapons are the firearms equivalent of bitcoin. Their only value comes from speculation of what their future value will be.

Why all the rage?

That isn't their only value. Not sure why you keep insisting that it is stupid/has no value when you don't know why I (or other who might buy one) might value it.

That's not a rifle, looks like a toy.

I'd rather have my Winchester Special Varmint .223 with the old Burris scope, but I'm just busting on ya a bit

One shot, one kill.

The thing will nail tacks.

I bought it for a variety of reasons.

1. I wanted a bullpup rifle.

2. I am interested in the mechanics of it (magazine top fed with a corkscrew action to feed the round into the chamber, etc.)

3. I wanted an ambidextrous rifle in my collection

4. I was interested in the different ergonomic design

5. I could get it for a great price through the LE/Military program

I do have other rifles in my collection.

Holy shit, finally! Some non-AR15 type rifles.

Keep it coming!

Gun Newb here - I have a 22 revolver for just plinking around and was thinking of picking up a .22 rifle for target shooting. I want to break into a decent pistol though and am looking for recommendations around $300-$400. I would like to eventually get into some tactical course shooting but this will be mostly for home protection and static target shooting. I have had the Bersa .380 recommended but wanted to see what else is out there.

Bersa makes a good gun, I have the .45 compact and it's been excellent...do you want to stick with .380 or are you open to other calibers?
