CCW class tomorrow, going to carry a Glock 39, Alien Gear IWB holster.

Have a Glock 31, with 40 cal and 9mm barrels for range/home defense, just ordered my first batch of ammo for the guns, we have a free public range here, woot.

Thinking of adding to the collection, want to mod the heck out of a 10/22 for target use, and a Glock 27 with a 3 barrel set up like the Glock 39.

I went to my gun club and bought myself a Christmas present that I actually wanted. It's a Walther PPQ M-2 in 45ACP. I've been looking for a new 45 for a bit now as the 1911 I have is one that I don't want to scratch up as guns that get shot a lot are prone to do. I'd been looking at Walther for a while now, as I loved my PPX in 9mm. The club had it on sale so with my gift card I was able to get him for under $600. It's got a very interesting trigger on him, that is so smooth in it's pull. It also has the shortest reset I've seen on a pistol, at least on a factory I should say. I did have to change out the back strap as the default one caused the grip to be too small for my monster hands. Once I've done that I have to say I love it. It reminds me a lot of the HKs in terms of grip, but with the trigger of a aftermarket.

Exactly how I felt about my 9mm ppq m2, was trying to decide between it and the vp9. No regrets with the PPQ.

SilencerCo Hybrid - one can to rule them all.

Nice, while the sheriff's dept was printing me this week for CCW permit, I asked the sheriff if he'd sign off on Class 3 stuff, and he said no problem, took the time to give me the names and numbers of a couple local FFL class 3's that would work with me.

I'm thinking a short barreled shotgun and a multi caliber silencer, dunno, everything's so damn expensive

Ordered a 10/22 takedown the other day, thinking of building a cheap AR pistol for a car gun.

That AK one is very cool. I'll have to watch it when I get home so I have sound. I didn't realize the piston hit the gas block (sometimes). Was that just because he had the gas tube off probably? Maybe it's explained in the video.

Probably takin a ride to the nearest Cabela's this weekend sometime with my brother. Definitely ain't gonna be Friday cause it'll be a frickin madhouse in there. We were in Cabela's a few years ago on a Black Friday... no thanks. I've been lookin/thinkin about picking up a 1911 (FINALLY!), so there's a chance I'll come home this weekend with one. So far I think my choice is a Remington R1 Enhanced (I've seen one w/ a threaded barrel there before; that'd be my choice for whenever I get my mitts on a suppressor):

Have always liked the things I'd seen about the Remington R1's myself and have resisted getting one.

Have enough pistols all ready and money is a bit tight here, but probably what I would get for a 1911 personally.

Palmetto State Armory has their blemished stripped lowers on sale again for $49 + shipping, really tempted to pick up a couple and build a cheap AR pistol car gun.

I side stepped all this BS by just filing a bunch of form 1s before January 1st. Two home made suppressors coming my way...assuming the BATFE doesn't find a way to reject my applications. At least I didn't make the serial number of one of them "FTBATFE"

http://www.hawktecharms.com/ had a nice trigger and mag release. Paid $200 for the ruger, $100 for the add ons, $75 for the sweet 16 scope, $100 for the stock. 5 rnds at 50yds, in a sled, quarter size group. Nice. Now I need to practice.

What ammo?
I bought 1K rnds of 1980's date sellier & bellot. Came in an ammo can and is very waxy but the rounds are true. Unlike the white box stuff I've been getting. I wanted to get the rifle sighted in for one round instead of the mutli's that I have.

Never had a misfire .22 growing up. Have had many since the mid 90's with the bulk packs.

As another poster already said, there are some decent folks on YT.

I like MrGunsandGears, Iraqveteran8888 (too bad the older guy of the pair passed away), TheHogUSMC, NutnFancey (but I do not like his on and on rambling, make the video longer than needs be), TCArmory, TheLateBoyScout.

James Yeager is ok but he has attitude problem.

LOL, I caved and bought a couple of PSA stripped lowers for $49, still not sure if I'll register them as pistols or rifles, really digging the AR pistols with a Sig brace... Will have to decide when I pick them up from FFL.

IV8888 is just a back woods bubba. I can't stand a lot of the tacticool "improvements" he does to guns. Barry was a chill guy that had a lot of knowledge and seemed like a great guy to be around. Eric is just awkward as fuck.

Nutn- No, just no. I have all of his vids hidden from youtube because of how abrasive the guy is.

ForgottenWeapons- one of the best channels on youtube.

Hickok- pretty cool when you want to see some of the weapons out there get a pretty good run down/review.

Nutn and IV8888 remind me of an older FPSRussia.

Speaking of Hickok45, his channel was apparently just shut down. For "repeated violations of Google's policies."

WOW. What a load of dick. I don't watch hickok45 as much as I used to, but I still check out a video from time to time. That really sucks. It definitely makes sense some channels got together and created Full30.com, for exactly shit like this.

Talked a bit with my buddy last night, he mentioned that the BATFE has amended their policy on suppressors (going into effect in 180 days I believe). People with trusts will need to have all principles involved get photographed, fingerprinted, etc. But now the CLEO sign-off requirement has been waived for individuals filing; the CLEO just needs to be *notified* now (this is true for trusts too now, I think). Oh man, now I want to get a suppressor now that I don't have to do that bullshit!

Ugh on the prices going up again because of the EO scare. Wasn't really looking to buy anything new again, but was hoping prices of a few items would come down. Still several pieces on my would like to have list, but I'm not buying anything over MSRP. Only recent thing was helped a couple of co-workers put together some AR15 builds. Nothing fancy, but very serviceable.

I can't imagine it was because of content, must be something else, otherwise dozens of YouTube channels would be closed too.

From his Facebook page:

Apparently, Google + is more sensitive about firearms related postings and such. I never use Google+ and did not even realize the videos were being posted over there, I guess. I will keep you posted via Facebook here and the Hickok45andson channel. I have communicated with YouTube via email this morning, and hopefully, we'll be able to get the channel back up soon. I had just posted a new video.

It was the content, his YouTube stuff was automatically posted to Google+, and got their panties in a wad. Fixed now.
