No idea on the odds of Senate passing and Governor signing (I'm a Michigander) but if it was me and I was affected by this bill, say by being a 19 year old, I wouldn't comply. If I was caught then it would be a misdemeanor offense (the first offense would be).

I was finally able to make it to the range this weekend. Mainly wanted to do two things: try out the M57 Tokarev I picked up recently, and get the f'ing suppressor off my 22/47 Lite, rofl.

Here's my Tokarev after the 5 pounds of Cosmoline was cleaned off it:

Tokarev worked but there's something wrong with the trigger. I kinda think I bumped something, or whatever, during disassembly/reassembly, but I don't know. The trigger works but only if you pull it back in just the right way. I did notice that the trigger "pack" you put in the rear of the frame did not sit flush on the rails; it stuck up maybe a 1/8-1/4" inch. I just pressed it down cause it was held up by a spring or something like that and seemed fine otherwise, but I don't recall seeing that behavior in other peoples' reassembly videos I've watched.

And my Liberty Cosmic suppressor is stuck on my 22/45 Lite pistol, haha. I guess I hand tightened it too much when I first put it on there and now I can't get it off, even when rapid firing the pistol and trying to unscrew it. But it looks like you can use a crescent wrench to get it off so I gotta pick one up that's big enough, as my biggest one is 7/8" and is slightly too small. HNNNGGG
That's a handsome gun. Hope you figure out the trigger.

Thanks; she cleaned up quite well. I always used to think the Tokarev was a goofy or weird looking gun design, but it has definitely grown on me over time and now I actually think it looks neat, and unique. It's for a bug out/emergency type bag and something I can throw in there and forget about, but I like it so much and it's such an interesting piece of history that I might not use it for that role and instead get a cheap revolver or that Taurus PT111 or something else for the bag.

I love my Taurus PT111 G2. For $200 it comes with two 12-round magazines and they are reliable as heck. Just compact enough, but not so much that it feels small in your hand. The grip is aggressively stippled and very comfortable in my hand.

Nice, thanks for the mini review. I think finding a used Glock 19 would be ideal but the odds of needing this "bug out bag gun" are so slim and it's probably kinda dumb to put too much money into it. Well, not that I can't take it out and shoot it from time to time, but yeah. I think I'll go with the Taurus though.

Thinking I'll pick up a Henry H001T soon. I'm looking for a fun plinker. I really love the octagon barrel after seeing a different .22 octagon barrel lever action at a local gun show. That gun was a special "case hardened" .22 that was $2600 though! Maybe I'll get lucky at our next gun show and find something decent otherwise I'll just buy one new for ~340 or so according to gundeals.

Cool, thanks for the link. I watched a video recently by DevilDogGamer and he was singing the praises of Big Daddy Unlimited. It's a subscription site where you pay a monthly fee but they seem to have really good deals. It would probably be a good thing but I just don't order enough guns and accessories to justify the monthly fee. It looks decent though.

Got some new pvc morale patches today.

LMAO, those are great.

I was thinking of buying a pair of competition 1911 acp's, one for me and one for my wife, but I haven't decided the best one to buy yet. I got my wife hooked on watching TopShot a couple of years ago and now she wants to get into competitions.

I have been buying ammo mostly. 20k of specialty .22lr earlier in the month, and today I got 4 more of the 1100rd buckets from the sale at academy.

Dude wtf. Where do I find this type of legendary "wife" entity? I'm so f'ing jelly dawg. Btw yeah I used to like watching Top Shot too, haha. "BRING IT ON IN, SHOOTERS"

Holy poop that's a lot of .22LR!

Not much new with guns for me. I cleaned my AK recently so now I can put on the Primary Arms 1-6 scope and mount that I got a little while back. Should be a nice setup when I'm done.

I picked up a Dan Wesson PM7 a couple months ago and just picked up a Beretta A400 Xplor for the wife. She hates shooting my over-under when we shoot clays.

Yeah, a lot of it is stuff I can’t get locally - wolf match, the new Winchester super suppressed (trying this for the first time), Some of the subsonic 42g game Ammo, and a bunch of my go-to .22 suppressor ammo, American eagle.

Looking forward to seeing what the wolf match will do in the new ruger precision rimfire.

I finally got around to replacing the furniture on my AK. Some things just need wood..

I've always liked the look of an octagon barrel, and case hardening on any Henry lever gun always looks sweet. I opted for the base model Henry H001 .22 because I liked the hooded front site it came with.

I've been using this photo of a New Original Henry Iron-Framed in .44-40 WCF in my Windows background slideshow. One of the most attractive guns I've ever seen, but sadly it's not mine.

outstanding! I think one of these is going to be my next purchase when I see one in stock locally.
I felt pretty clumsy with it at first, got better the more I used it. My wife and I put a hundred rounds through it with no problems.

Anyone do any after market triggers for a Glock 19 (Gen 5)?? I've been looking around at them as I'm not that big a fan of the stock trigger.

I got a Sig Tacops 1911 .45.
Was deciding between this and a Kimber 1911, glad I made the choice I did.
