glad you followed my advice. I had the feeling she really liked you, but you must have appeared too desperate in her eyes (which is understandable given your life situation). Now, you must be able to maintain the relationship which is another story.

Well some people have busy lives, but standing someone up 5-6 times in a row is just plain rude. If she had to work that much you should have planned dates with her on the spur of the moment when she had a chance, not planned them knowing that she'd be busy and lucky to be able to make it. If I'm planning a date with someone and they don't show up, I'm going to assume they had a wreck or family emergency of something of that order - if it was something like work I wouldn't take it more than twice.

I say go out for a few weeks, if she keeps making her weekends available and making the effort to spend time with you then stick with it, but if she goes back to working too much and you end up in the same situation, forget it because it just isn't important enough to her.

Nice work. Sounds like you played every hand perfectly. As GuitarDaddy said, given that she took the weekend off work for you, REWARD her with your time and attention. That's how it works. She does good, you reward her, she fvcks up, you punish her (by not calling her or acting aloof/apathetic around her, whatever). Go do something fun with her and enjoy the weekend together, just don't revert to your old supplicating ways (calling her all the time and not standing up for yourself). Good luck.

You do not realize that once that level of disrespect has been breached, there is no do-over. Things will be better for a few weeks or months at most, and then she'll go back to standing you up and ignoring you.

I was in this very position not too long ago. According to my notes, you should not treat her like a queen all weekend like previously advised. She'll know you were putting on an act if you do. What you should do is maintain a slight indifferent and noncommittal attitude. When you go out this weekend, don't get all dressed up and stuff, at least not all weekend. You should show up in a t-shirt and jeans for at least one of the dates (a Halo 2 T-shirt is preferable...it's all about attitude). Also, if you're lucky enough to score, don't get all excited and sh!t. Tell her "Meh, it was alright." This will make her bang your brains out the next go round to prove to you that she is all woman. If you were stupid enough to tell her that you were a virgin and she brings that up after you give her the line above, tell her you were lying so that she wouldn't think you were only after her for the coochie. Stop with the long and drawn out kisses. That's so virginy.

This advice will work, at least for the weekend. That may be all you want by the time it's over anyway.
