I had a dream last night that I was studying at my parents' house... I looked at the house across the street and saw a beautiful blonde woman that was wearing a white satin robe that was hanging open. I could see little glimpses of her under her robe... It made me keep staring out the window....then I heard my parents in the other room so I turned my head to look...when I looked back out the window she was gone. Then I realized she was sitting on the porch looking in at me. I went out on the porch wearing nothing but a tshirt and boxer shorts....I said, "hi"...she said, "I'm going to be blunt. My husband is gone for the week. You can come over anytime you want."

Then it dawned on me in my dream that I didn't want to be with this woman because I'm in love with my fiance. It was really a good feeling to come to that realization in my subconcious thought....since I already felt that way in my concious thought.

Edit: BTW....there is no blonde woman that lives across the street from my parents. Some guy that contracts with Bobcat bought it just recently.

Assuming this is real, I'm guessing that she's using you. You probably compliment her, and feed her the lines that she wants to hear, but she doesn't want to give you the same because she isn't attracted to you and thinks of you as more of a little boy who can make her feel good, than as a man. This one is strictly in the friend zone, but I wouldn't even go there.

He was up front about it with her. I doubt that is an issue.

Sounds like she's not your perfect dream girl. You've known her five years? I would think it's safe to say that it is very likely that nothing will ever happen beyond your close friendship. You lack some sort of chemistry between each other that turns a friendship into a loving relationship. And as others have pointed out before, it doesn't sound from her comments about you that she is that into you outside of your friendship.
