other than it not hitting my pocket books too hard.. (I am low on cash now).

She said somethign small and simple.. but knowing women they want something big right!

or did she really mean small and simple..

if so small and simple.. what can I do? Especially with the Weather like this?

I was originally thinking sandwiches & wine and dine by the beach.. watching the sunset.. but that wont happen.

so what do you guys have in mind.. help a brother out.. What kind of cheap place would be good for 2..

I know TGIF has a 2 for 19.99 deal.. but if so I have to find out where the closest TGIF is and if they have the deal.

You're celebrating 1 month?!?!? I don't think I would have even considered celebrating such a meaningless milestone in a relationship.

Just do what I did for my gf when it was our one month anniversary: NOTHING.

i would love to do "nothing" but this means more to her than me....

i mean we nearly had our first misunderstanding yesterday. Needless to say I need to be a bit more careful.

Damn, don't set the bar too high, or month 2 is really going to tap you out!

...poor guy. I can only imagine what you're going to do for celebrating 2 months, 3 months, 4 months, etc.. You'll probably end up pretty broke by the time 1 year annivesary comes up

same, I think 1 month celebrations might be a bit premature. Don't do anything.

I used to be like that. I'm not careful anymore. I'm just as happy being alone as I am having someone, sometimes happier alone. So if she gets mad, she's free to go and she knows it. Perhaps that is why she chooses to stay?

personally I think 1 week, 1 mnth and 1 year is acceptiable.. but 1 month is a bit silly.. i think 6 month would be better..
but then most women want that 1 mnth..

Oh well.. I am checking into the TGIF hotdeal...

What about cooking/preparing some stuff yourself? Get some fruits and make a salad, get some bread/meat/tomatoes and make yerself some sandwich and perhaps a bit of wine/sparkling juice and you're set. Oh yeah, just have to find a nice and romantic place to eat those things

First celebration me and my gf had was 3 months...and that sort of segwayed in to christmas time...I took her out to dinner at her favorite place...woopty doo hehe (its been nearly 2 years with her now, and she's only now starting to pay for some nights out, like a 80-20 split heh). When do these things get to be 50-50 anyway

i think it means more to both of you...
typical gift would just be flowers or something....

creative gift... well that'd be for you to figure out.
