EDIT: How'd you get the 5 dz for free? Can I get me some of that action?

Callaways always seem to be so hard that they give NO action at all, I dont use them, ever.

The pro at the course I work at got a box from the Nike rep he's banging, and he only plays Pro V1's, so I got the Nike's

LOL that's funny. I have a sleeve of ProV1s in my bag that I got for free. Haven't tried them yet, but I've heard they're life-changing.

You don't like the Callaways, huh? Maybe I should try some other balls...

You might lose a couple yards since callaways are rock hard and go like no other, but Pro V1's STICK. I actually had a 2 iron pull back on a green with a Pro V1, that was impressive to say the least.

But yeah, give em a shot, though you'll kick yourself every time you spend $50+ on a dozen of em lol.

I use maxfli noodle. fits my smooth swing

IMO its a waste of money to buy premium balls such as prov1, hx tour or nike one... those balls are designed for high swing speeds...

(also I cant stand to dump a $4 ball in the water...)

titleist prov1 or tour

And I prefer a softer ball to a harder one - better feel around the greens and putting for me.

Anywho, ever since I started playing well and being able to tell a differance between different balls, I've been playing ProV1 and ProV1X's. However, I got a case of five dozen Nike One Blacks for free, and DAMN, they are the sweetest balls I've ever played. I think I'm switching, but we shall see.

So what type of ball do you ATOT golfers play? Do you care? Brand preferance? Soft or hard?

How the heck did you get 5 dozen for free?

Let me get in on that..

Hey cool.

I'm not extremely picky about what I use, as long as it's new and not too scuffed up. That said, I like TopFlite Aeros, Wilson Jack High, Pro V1 (when I find them - I don't buy Pro v1s!!), umm... pretty much anything though. I usually just pick up cheap ones in the used bins at my course. There you can usually get 4 really good balls (look like they've never been hit) for $5.

Which Callaways are you using? The cheaper ones like the Warbirds are rock hard but the HX tours are quite soft and very nice. Only problem I found with them is that they scuff like a mofo.

For my game, I like the NXT Tours and the DTs. Although my favorite ball is the Precept MC Lady.

I am a guy and I can prove it. But the MC Lady is a great ball at a great price and they perform very well.

the MC lady is a great ball. Gave me at least 10 extra yards on evey club.

they have MC "laddy" now because guys didn't want to play them.

My buds would always make fun of me for playing the lady, but yet I was always 15-20 yards farther then they off the tee so it was gratifying to say "yeah, but your still away"

Nah, they still have the Lady out now. Precept came out with the 'Laddie' for guys too macho and whose game did not warrant a Vx or Nike One but should have used a softer ball to play better but couldn't bring themselves to buy a women's ball. It is essentially the same ball but it's marketing to appeal to macho guys.

As is 90% of golf marketing btw.

My dad swears by the Lady (well, usually at it, but you get the idea).
