The trouble is that I barely know here but her emails to me have been so... Sweet... That I want to know her more. But I'm not 12, I shouldn't walk into this hoping that I'll get to know this sweet girl more, KNOWING that she lives 4 hours away, right? Not saying that a relationship will happen, we barely know each other. but she has this wonderful mix of intelligence and sweetness that I'm really liking, this from a guy who's been dating quite a bit and am rather jaded... Tell me I should just move on and avoid the misery!

Met her when she was 3000 miles away. We knew each other online exclusively for 5 years, didn't meet until earlier this year in person.

Please go to myspace.com to see just how many very pretty and intelligent girls are dating online lately. Big cities make it oddly very difficult to meet people. bars suck and there's no real place to go to meet people on a 1 on 1 basis.

Hmm. I guess that's a slim possibility, although it violates some cyberlaw to use Myspace and intelligent in the same sentence. I'm a cynical skeptic, generally a person dating online is desperate, whether it's a woman that has some clandestine fault that detracts IRL dates or she's exchausted her supply of manwhores that treat her like shiat.

You can probably fly for cheap every now and then, right? Should only take you about 1 hour.
My sister was dating a guy in Dallas and she would fly to Dallas or he would drive down to Houston.
Now she's in China learning the language and they're still together.
