In my study hall class, lets just say what we have a lot of kids who have no business being in there.

We have a select group of kids who bring in chewing tobacco almost everyday. They spit it in the bottles next to me, they spill it.... it is absolutely disgusting.

Im not one to complain or rat anyone out or anything, but i got SO fed up with some of the stuff they were doing, i, along with one of my friends told a teacher for a number of reasons.

This only happens when a certain teacher is supervising. She doesn't pay attention and she hates me along with others who actually do our work in study hall (i mess around too much during the rest of the day so by that time i need to actually do my work).

A. We are sitting doing our work while everyone else is talking and screaming, and she had the audacity to come over and ask "Why aren't you guys talking". My friends answered before me (which was probably good) that we had work to do. I on the other hand wanted to say some smart ass thing like "We dont have a social life".

B. I am taking a test in study hall. This teacher relieves the previous teacher. Someone asks if they can leave and she says know and starts ranting about how she is going to call security if she anything else happens. She also said that no one was going anywhere. I raised my hand and politely stated that i was taking a test and needed to return it now. She turns around and absolutely SCREAMS at me. "What is your problem, why cant you leave me alone. Im in a bad mood. You shut the hell up before i call security". I am sitting there thinking "thats it" so i pushed the issue and she, still screaming at me, said "Why are you taking a test in here". I said "Ummmm, because it is STUDY HALL, and i missed it earlier in the week". So she just turned around. I was pissed off, so i got out my hall pass and politely walked up with it filled out. She didn't do anything so i threw it on her desk and walked out. She didn't even right me up. (Thats right asshole ). My other teacher (the one i told about the tobacco said that this teacher was getting fired in the near future and if she were to write me up, that they would have a little "chat".

C. I am sleeping, as i dont have much work that day. This idiot Freshman thug is messing around with a balloon behind me, so i start working on HW. He keeps hitting me so i turn around and said "Are you going to cut that ****** out sometime this year". Needless to say he doesn't mess around much anymore.

D. They are doing chewing tobacco one day, and the balloon asshole asks me while i am talking with my friends (making fun of all the other people in the class) "Why dont you do this". I said "Because im not a moron!".

So today they got a bunch of other people to try it. The one girl almost threw up on me, and then to clean up the mess, while i was sleeping they pushed some of the stuff that fell out of the can under my desk. Not only did they do that they went up to the teacher with that crap in their mouth, and asked to go to the bathroom. That teacher just let them go, didn't take any notice to their bulging lip. So i left and told my other teacher.

I personally, obviously, dont like these kids or this teacher, but i had gotten fed up.

Edit: Before anyone says anything, i am not a nerd or anything lol. Just this class is, as i said, full of people whom i would rather not be friends with.

But tattling is probably not the best way to deal with these kids.

My HS, kids aren't bad. They are wannabe bad kids. But yeah, depending on when, yeah there is a lot changed.

If you didn't say any names, I don't have a problem with what you did. However, if you did single kids out, I wouldn't feel bad about them exacting some revenge.

Not only that i would hardly consider this tattling, even though i feel like it is. They are not only breaking school rules, but they are breaking state rules (and maybe federal rules).

Additionally, i forgot to mention it, one of the kids in question got caught with it by the other SH teacher. She turned him in and nothing ever happened -_-. I am late to school and i manage to get 2 demerits (Or would have had my friend not been working in the attendance office as an aid at the time) (5 gets you ISS) yet he pulls that crap and gets nothing. Go figure.

No, my friend merely got me into the class room without demerits for the time being so i wasn't tardy. I still got the demerits.

And im a sniveling twep....hmmm not sure how that works out. Someone gets me into class ok yeah they got me around a school rule for the time being. But they certainly didn't violate a major school rule (DRUGS) or break a state (and possibly Federal) law by bringing a tobacco product onto school grounds and distributing it. See the difference there!?

Generally it is a good high school. It is in Spotsylvania, a suburb of Washington DC. As i said, there are those kids who are wannabe badasses.

This study hall is a full year course for me and a few others. I dont know how they managed to get approved for a full year but they did. I really need this study hall as i am taking 5 AP classes, i have sports, clubs, a job, and i still have to find time to hang out with my friends.

Major school rule? Most schools don't give a damn if you have a pack of cigs, a lighter, or a can of dip, as long as you don't brandish it.

It is illegal to use the products and posses them if you're under 18. If you are 18, you can posses them depending on state laws.

And yes, abusing the system to get out of a punishment that possibly goes on your permanent record, would be a serious violation pal.

EDIT: Also, if you drive to school, I wouldn't park where anyone knows for a few weeks.

The second one, is still not whining. I am merely retelling what i did. I get fed up with it so instead of causing problems and yelling about it right there, i went and did something about it.

The one teacher already knows, but the other teacher just wont do anything. The kid stands up and does that little snapping the can thing (sorry i dont know what it is) right in front of her and she doesn't do anything. As for the first part of your statement, not only is it illegal on school grounds, and illegal to have on school grounds, the kid is 16. That means he is a minor, that means that he isn't 18, that means he cannot possess a tobacco product.
