The funny thing is i only logged onto that account from my computers, in my own house.....but then again they could have been affected....


And yes, i do say they're incompetent....i reported this and havent heard anything back

He is understandibly p!ssed as he has a bunch of stuff linked with that email address.

This same thing happened to me.

I had this hotmail email address and it was blocked. I think I knew the person who got my email account blocked also. MSN did nothing and I was p!ssed as the email was cool and mine.

Well it was a hassle but I used another email address. SO funky that email address but had to get everyone I knew to use that one.

Well cut a long story short I later just register the SAME email address and no one has taken it. Think asian name that isn't common so I got it back again

and once you're completely convinced that you're never gonna get that account back, sign that email address up for every kind of spam you can think of. get creative with it. this will basically make the account as unsuable for them as it is for you.

If it was a keylogger. You can determine when the program was installed. Usually you have to press an assortment of keys to log in.

Once you find out the time and date. You can view video footage of the day that happened.

Or you can just check the video footage of the school when you couldn't log in (backtrack).

i lost my hotmail once and it was pretty easy to recover.

scan your machine for viruses and spyware. its likely someone got it that way and is using your account to spam now.

I was in my email, going through emails when i recieve an email saying password change request completed. Havent been able to log in since....
