Current prediction shows a pretty good chance of it smacking into Florida around Tuesday, although that's a long way off and anything could happen between now and then.

Looks like it's heading toward the Gulf; and NOLA is right in the center of the current cone. Good luck to you Louisiana area people; hopefully it diminishes in intensity to closer to a tropical storm before it makes landfall.
