I don't smoke, but did waaaaaaaay back...The 60's and 70's were berry good to me...and the 80's weeren't bad either...:roll:

Tax the hall out of it, sell it in liquor stores, make it illegal to drive under the influence, (will need a more reliable testing method and need a cut-off level so you don't get busted for what you smoked last weekend) and control it just like the government does alcohol. Unfortunately, that will probably make growing your own illegal, (much like making whiskey) because it would be a tax evasion issue, but otherwise, if I could go to the corner liquor store and buy pre-rolled Coconut Groves again, I MIGHT consider smoking pot again...It's only been 20+ yrs since the last time...

You can homebrew beer or wine legally (so long as it's less then 200 gallons/year here I think) so I wonder if you couldn't grow your own? They let medical marajuana users do it in CA don't they? I'd buy some serious farmland the day this passes.

The whole problem with legalizing it is restricting it. It needs to be treated with some respect and there needs to be reputable people that will sell only to those that they are authorized too. and what about medical marijuana? I personally know a person that steals medical marijuana, and replaces it with cheaper brand marijuana just so he can get > < that much more high.

I personally think that marijuana is a very interesting activity when done with the utmost maturity.

But in the end, the activity is too far liberal in its nature for any western government to completely legalise in the next 20 years.

I hope it gets legalized to some extent. But it needs to be regulated.
