In this specific case, probably nothing. But by participating in the rioting crowd, they accept some risk of physical injury, regardless of the source. For the rioters setting shit on fire and breaking other people's property, they should be stomped on by horses.
Watching the news last night (see location), I saw an interview with PG County's Police Chief and he said they're "having trouble identifying the officers in the video."
I can already see where this is going...
"We don't know which officers beat the shit out of that kid, sooooooooooo we can't do anything about it. Sorry!"
The police that filled out the bogus reports should be held accountable as the officers there or be forced to say who it was.

Lol. I love when it is blatantly obvious when someone doesn't watch the video.The cops acted appropriately. I do have issue with them using batons and slamming the kid against the wall though. All of that is completely unnecessary now that we have tasers and pepper spray. A simple tasing would have put him down and under control. He could then be carried out of the way and into jail, where he belongs. As far as the comments about how this kid did nothing, I'll reserve judgment until I get the whole story, which is doubtful because of the liberal media's hatred of police, and authority in genera. Everyone knows this.
