YASQ: Is this legit?

Below is an email I've been trading back and forth from a seller on Craigslist about a motorcycle:

The thing is, the whole things sounds fishy - the price seems to be about right for the mototrcycle, but with the shipping fee included, I can't imagine that this would be legit - but is the website (Buysafe) legitemate? If he uses that, can I believe that he's an honest seller?

There are xxxx miles on it, the bike is in great condition, never dropped. It has clear title and the price I will sell it for is $x,xxx.xx US, which includes the shipping's taxes and the insurance.
I live in Chicago but currently I am with work in United Kingdom ( London ) for the next approximately 5 months, but I am using BuySafe services so I can sell the bike without any difficulty.
I left the bike in their custody in US before leaving overseas. They will take care of the shipping. Also there's a 14 days return policy included.
So if you want to purchase it, please let me know and I will explain you how BuySafe works and how we can proceed.

I'm interested in the motorcycle still - can you tell me how this works? I'm getting a little ahead of myself here, but it counds like the motorcycle's price includes the shipping and taxes?

I live two hours south, and I was planning on just going up there and picking it sometime - is it in Chicago, or London? If it is in Chicago, would I have to wory about shipping if I drove up and got it for myself? Please let me know.

the bike is in New York (in BuySafe custody). They should receive the payment and take care of the shipping. It will take at least 30 days to set up an appointment and I want to sell it faster than that because I am paying some fees each passing day.
So if you want to purchase it, let me explain you how BuySafe works and how we can proceed:
in order to start the official transaction, I need to know your full name and shipping details.
As soon as I receive these information, I'll start the official procedure, I will forward it to BuySafe and as soon as they have all the details, they will start the transaction and notify you with all you need to know regarding it (payment instruction, shipping, my account status etc) As soon as the payment is complete, you have to send them the payment information, they will verify it and proceed with the shipping. You will have 14 days return policy, so you will have the chance to test and inspect the bike and inform them if you keep it or not. If you decide to keep it, they will release me the funds, if not, you will have a complete refund within 3 days. So I am waiting your email.

sounds fishy to me..he lives in chicago but is currently in the UK, and the bike is in NY. Also, that last email he seems to be pressuring you a little bit - asking for your contact info so he can right away give it to buysafe...

why does he want to sell it so bad that it couldnt wait until he gets back to the states? Why couldn't he just have a friend sell it for him? Doesn't make sense if you ask me.

A quick review of Buysafe.com shows that this guy is scamming you. From the buysafe.com site:

"At this time, buySAFE's services are ONLY available on select retail Websites and the following marketplaces: eBay, Overstock.com Auctions, and TIAS.com. (Please note: buySAFE is NOT currently partnered with Craigslist or AutoTrader, so transactions on those marketplaces will NOT be bonded by buySAFE)."

I recommend you stay away from this transaction.
