YASTT: Does it wear out the warp drive to keep it fully engaged?

If i'm stopped at a borg cube, should i put the ship in neutral or keep it in warp and keep the warp drive fully engaged? I've heard that keeping it engaged wears out the warp drive. Obviously it wouldn't wear the flux capacitor since it's not slipping, but the internal mechanism and other mechanical parts. I've also heard that if you any kind of stress test, you need to keep the warp engaged at borg cubes so you can move the ship if you need to (say they shot some of their green plasma at you). Any thoughts?

Now there is a duty cycle on Linear Aerospike Rocket Engines but a lot of the whitepaper specs are not public information.

It puts a small amount of wear on the plasma couplings, not the flux capacitors, every time the warp drive is engaged or disengaged.

You fail at star trek parodies. The flux capacitor is the main component in the deloran time machine car from back to the future and has nothing to do with the warp drive of the enterprise.
