Lost at the end, but the maze worked well, probably just have to find the right balance between upgrading and making new towers (didn't analyze the damage/cost ratios like the last TD)

Best I've done so far was finishing easy with 14 lives left (the last 3 boss pairs got through). As for normal mode, I think I've lost at the very last level

Yes, grid is on, but they disappear long before they even reach my guns. They just disappear and I lose lives.

Are you blocking? You can't block, you have to leave a clear path for them to walk.

Yes, I was blocking, but it wasn't giving me an error stating that I'm blocking.

If you block the entrance they'll path through your towers. If you block anywhere else it will give you the blocking message and not allow you to place the tower.

One time they passed right through the towers. The second time, it wouldn't let me place the tower that blocked their path. But every other time, they simply disappeared long before they even reached my towers.

Try it out, make a long path of towers diagonally across the board. The enemies will disappear.

Don't built a huge maze, spend your money on better towers. I beat normal without losing a life with a 3 level deep maze which just maximized the time spent within the range of my cluster of strong towers.

If you block their path with a wall, it counts as getting to the goal if they manage to get past your wall without dying.

I made that same mistake. Great find on the game though; this will cost me all kinds of time tomorrow.

All you need is a maze three to four deep with 4-5 typhoon towers in a the center starting on the first wall of the maze. I didt lose a single life.
