If you can find a used copy of Gears of War 2 for a good price, that is what I would get. Horde is by far one of the best multiplayer modes I've played in a game.

i love bad company.

burnout paradise is open world racing in a large city. multiplayer can be racing (road rage, point to point, etc), completing (simple, yet fun) challenges, or just driving around crashing into things. try the demo, and the game is only $17 from amazon http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000MUXLOK crashing in this game is fun and funny.

See if you can find a couple used copies of Pure. Super fun racing game, great on Live too when you can find people to play.

If you like sim type racing, Forza 2 is down to $19.99 and it comes with the DLC tracks and cars.

I really liked Too Human and Newegg has it for $19.99 w/ free shipping.
