thanks,

drop in filter, exhaust, intercooler + pipe upgrades
coming soon along with a tune. should push me near ~340.
should be plenty. i was having traction issues in my mazdaspeed3
and adding anything more to it i would have been spinning.
decided to make the jump, you only live once, might as well
enjoy it.

msrp 38,534. got it for 33,999 + ttl
2010 evo X gsr w/sss + nav
added the 7yr 100k warranty also

they gave me 15k on the trade in (2008 mazdaspeed 3 GT 26k miles), and i was fine with that since my tires had maybe 3k left before i had to buy new ones.

and used their 0% financing ftw

Nice ride, though if you're gonna buy new and trade in in 2 years I recommend leasing.

no, this was a one time thing, i usually keep my cars until they die. i've always wanted an evo and i'm at a point i can actually afford one now.

the evo MR's are 42-44k fully optioned out.

I've been seeing these red horns a lot on Imprezas...must be the new fad kinda like windshield washer nozzle LEDs.
Nah, fully functional for the idiots that try to run you off the road.

For what its worth, mine are grill mounted but painted black. They definitely get people's attention

Anyway, nice car OP. Also, I don't think the 6speed would help your highway fuel economy. If its geared anything like an STi, the ratios are more closely spaced and the overdrive is practically the same as the 5speed.

Wow. I sometimes wish I got an MR last year when they were around 34-35k with 0% for 60months.

Nice, my first mod would be a clear bra for at least the front and rear fenders right behind the doors. The front tires kick rocks right into that area and you'll get some nasty road rash in no time. Having the thinnest of thin paint jobs doesn't help in this area either.

Get with the times. these days the vuvuzela is the in thing

Is that what was making the horrible droning noise when I turned on the soccer game Saturday morning? Lame. It was so annoying I turned the friggin' game off. Couldn't watch it.

Never really watched World Cup soccer before but thought I might give it a chance. If they do that at every game though, forget it.

That is what it is. You get used to it after a while. CBC's feed does attenuate the noise down so it is not too bad. I can't imagine the migraine if I am there though.

But then, they are not jumping up and down trying to destroy the stadium. Nor hit the drum with a piece of rubber hose. Nothing as nauseating as a stadium that is bopping up and down by about 2" and the concussion from the drums. This of course is normal in Argentina.

updated post 1 with pics

you can't really see the clear bra in the last pic, this new avery nano fusion had nothing but good reviews, i decided to try something new instead of going with the 3m or venture, as the fusion was created specifically for cars as opposed to the others which were adapted from other uses to cars (Probably bs marketing but whatevers) this has a nice clear coat on it.

next up, motor and suspension.

I guess I'm the only one that thinks the front of that car is ugly as @#$%. It looks like it has a goatee and needs a shave, or they forgot to finish the paint job.

Sweet ride !! Pretty awesome price too if you ask me. The RALLIART model costs that much here in Canuckistan. To buy a new EVO here will run you close to $50k.

enjoy it!!
