I work out as much as I can but school takes most of my time. I'm in no way a big guy nor do I start fights. Haven't been in any physical street fight in a long time. Not many (non-asian) people understand asian cultural upbringing and are quick to make judgements. Respect for elders is very important and I can see why Gunrush would be hesitant in interfering with such matters.

Ok, first off Tae Kwon Doe is a martial art that focuses on feet. You say its useless well how about if someone walks up to you without saying a word and throws a kick to your head. Hmm... your right not much of a street fight after that is it? Hmm.. no I'm not skinny at all.

If your referring to the notion that most street fights end up bieng wrestling matches then I would have to tell you that the best defense is an attack. I do not get into fights but if it comes to that you can be sure I will not scream at your or be angry just come and silently beat the crap out of you

Well, based one what you just said, I can only conclude that you have NEVER been in a 'streetfight'. You seem to think that knowing TKD gives you Jet-Li like abilities...Why would you walk up to someone and kick them in the head? That's called CSF -- chee psho tfu -- and you don't need to practice that. I hope you never have to find out the reality of streetfights, because unless the person you are fighting is a total moron, you won't have a chance to kick him in the head...even if you do, your one kick will not knock him out...so you basically put yourself into a very awkward position. TKD is a sport art about form and style. There is no form and style in a streetfight. You'd have a better chance with jeet kune do in a fight, since there are no stances, styles or forms.

I have been in street fights when I was in 6-about 10th or 11th grade. I used to love to fight that is one of the reasons I took TKD. I also have been present during numerouse street fights... my friend about 2 weeks ago we got into an argument with this one guy after he wanted money for a job screwed up. He pushed my friend and didn't expect my friend to retaliate well... he got knocked right in the face. We drove off before the guy could stand up. All I'm saying is that most people do not expect to get hit... they try to intimdate you with screaming and working up their anger before they actually attack you. A kick to the head is more then enough to disable the person from his continued aggression and I'm sure if I do it I can probably keep them confused and dazed for minutes after impact. Of course, I can always walk away and grab the pack of Militiary Tear Gas fromy my car or a 500,000 volt stun gun but lets be realistic and stick to this situation it was a girl not a guy. PERIOD.

Why would you walk up to someone and kick them in the head?

Well, I don't know what its called but that is exactly what I would do to you. That or a swift punch to your throat.
