I order on Monday and it's delivered on Wednesday (Sometimes Thursday), and I don't live anywhere near either of their warehouses.
I'm not ready to jump on the newegg bashing bandwagon yet. Still worth every penny to me..

i agree, for computer peripherals such as keyboards, mice, fans, cables, etc. i buy at Fry's. the price is the practically the same compared to Newegg or other online retailers but for video cards, motherboards, HDD's, ram and processors i buy online 'cause they're almost always cheaper than retail stores.

I don't see an issue with this increase in shipping costs. I think the current shipping costs are fair. I've always thought that newegg's price for shipping was well below the norm for most online vendors. Heck, refurb's were usually always free. I'm not surprised this has finally caught up with them. In any case, it's hard to find a retailer online with fair prices that's also RELIABLE, which newegg has always been with me.

I wouldn't say they suck, they have a great return policy and reliability, zipzoomfly.com is just an alternative, along with ewiz.com, and mwave.com

If you're purchasing needs are for business, go with dell, they want to be your one-stop-shop and their account managers will beat any price! Otherwise, go with zzf for personal stuff

Then don't buy from them.... I still will... they have great custmer service... that's high in my books... much rather pay a few extra dollars for peace mind....

well, I have to agree with ahsia. Shipping service is #1.
Customer service.. well, Thats a little to put on debate especially when u enquire about something.
But overall, they do a good job .
An establish company, competitive pricing, reliable courier service nationwide.

Paying a few dollars more is worth it frankly.

try ordering from SVC.com or go to amazon or somewhere that does offer free shipping but otherwise you'll be better off paying 8% tax on 200 ~ 18-20 bucks instead of 32$ for shipping.
