i think the late 90's bmw's destroyed this current gen as far as looks go. honestly, i dont like the looks of the new style at all... looks like a rice burner car from fast n furious or something

If the f32 actually looks like that I'd very likely buy one. Though I'd probably go 428 since the m3 I bet will be pushing 80k with ttl. But those pics are renders. The new front end could potentially look great on a coupe but I'm not a fan of it on the sedan where it looks like it is not a cohesive design .

Looks are a comfortable revolutionary upgrade. Current styling is fantastic so thats as expected.

I am sort of sad to the V8 go. Spiritually I sort of wish the I6 was back as Woodie mentioned.
Still think the Straight six sound is cooler as well.

I agree. Then again the e92 looked great. The biggest upgrade by far this generation is the interior. I'd say for the Germans in this class its class leading from sitting in an f30. Just great feeling materials. Tho I'd say the aesthetics of the nav screen looks tacked on

I have driven both the 335i and the M3 (current gen) and the 335i is a better car. Add some extra boost for the M3 turbos (plus maybe a hybrid SC) and it should have an amazing torque curve.

High-revving is relatively outdated now. Why not get the power in the low RPMs as well? Not really much sense here; it's not an F1 car. Taking two cars with relatively equal body weight and handling, it would be ignorant to take the car that generates relatively the same max torque at 5000rpm vs. 3000rpm.

Still awhile before this comes out. If gas mileage is good, might be a nice alternative to the V.
