My dad used this when he worked at Intel, and gave it to me a year or so ago. It has been sitting around here in a box becuase it didn't play games so great compared to my lowly geforce 2mx and I decided to see maybe if I could get a couple dollars out of it. I was expecting maybe around 30 or 40 dollars, but not this. I am so excited! Video card upgrade here I come!!!!!

I don't think it was the seller jacking up the prices. If you take a look at what that bidder has been bidding on, you can see he has quite an interest in special video cards and has been trying to bid on a number of them. If it was the seller, he did a pretty good job of covering his tracks. Congrats on your auction.

I have found that the people looking for these kind of cards have the Silicon Graphics (SGI) 1600SW Flat Panel Monitor which sell used for around $650.00. There are three cards that have adapters to fit it and you can only find this card used as Number Nine has gone out of business. The guy who bought mine e-mailed me before the end of the auction and said he was looking for two of them, so there must be some demand out there for them. There was a card just like mine that sold for $172.50 the day before and the guy who bought mine won that auction also . Link I think there were a few people who missed out on that one and were determined to get mine and bid the price up. Now comes the waiting game, I have never sold any thing on ebay before, so it will be interesting to see how smooth the transaction goes.

why not get a multilink? I got in on that deal way back in sept, got me 5 1600sw monitors with multilinks for 550 a pop

Anyway they all went on ebay,except for one. It ended up being free and i made about 3 gs
