Wrong. He didn't actually bomb anyone. The threat, yes, the action, no.

Here's proof that the police and FBI came to the conclusion that the Sarkeesian threat was not real. No actual threat.
Nah, sorry, you don't get to play the victim card I'm afraid.
Why hasn't this been moved to P&N? This has absolutely nothing to do with gaming.
A few of us did ask the mods...

Record of several people who have been harassed only for supporting gamergate, male and female, including up to doxxy death-threats like the one that made Brianna Wu famous overnight. In case anyone thought I was making it up earlier.
You mean the threat to Wu that was entirely made up by a so-called journalist in South America who, as far as the FBI has figured, was doing it just to drive up his click-bate income?
The threats you're thinking of were targeted at Anita Sarkeesian, not Brianna Wu. I haven't heard anything about the FBI commenting on this, which doesn't seem like something they'd normally do. And I strongly doubt this one guy accounts for all of the threats Sarkeesian has received, especially the most recent USU one.
It's good that a false flag was exposed for what it is but that doesn't mean that they all. For the most part, no one knows anything about the people sending these threats, much less their motivation. Assuming they're fake isn't really better than assuming they're part of a larger organized hate movement.
Yes, it was one single man responsible for the USU threat. Yes, the FBI and other law enforcement were involved.
There IS NO larger organized hate movement outside of the militant feminist idiots like Sarkeesian. There is NO anti-woman nonsense in gaming.
She only made that misogynist video because she got CAUGHT RED HANDED in the GamerGate scandle connected to the list of journalists responsible for the massive conflict of interest and dishonesty.
She got caught and made the video to make herself look like a victim. She's disgusting. SHE and her stupid feminism is the only face of hatred in gaming.
But that has nothing to do with the Brazillian guy whom I'm pretty sure the FBI didn't comment on. We do know the FBI is investigating the USU letter but I'm not aware of comments from them on it - local police have released comments.
That's exactly why I made that comparison. What did you think I was saying? Did you read my earlier posts on this?
What video are you talking about?
Coming from the GG side, i've been threatened and doxxed alot, so no, it isn't a one side issue, it's a both side issue.
The "threats" at Brianna were never linked to Gamergate until she herself linked it. The threat about a massacre at USU never were (Anita was only afraid to go there because of the concealed carry laws [that the university has no control over!])
Started reading it. Got bored. Same old shtick. "This one side is a hate group and here's the reasons they suck." Never mind that the social justice side exhibits many of the same qualities. They don't like your opinion? Don't debate it, just harass the other person until they give up, or even better just get them banned from any forum they dare to speak their mind. Or if you don't feel like going to all that trouble, just end the conversation by telling the shitlord that you're not going to mansplain to him why he just doesn't understand because patriarchy. And now the delicate flower has been triggered, so conversation over.http://badassdigest.com/2014/10/27/film-crit-hulk-smash-on-despair-gamergate-and-quitting-the-hulk/
Film Crit Hulk is one of the smartest and most insightful media critics I've ever read. This piece about GamerGate is long, and in all caps (that's his schtick), but I hope all the GamerGate supporters in this thread read it. It gets at why a real conversation between GamerGaters and pretty much everyone else seems impossible at times, how supporters of the movement might consider a broader view of how it is affecting people, and a lot of other things too.
http://www.convertcase.net/ if you get tired of the caps
I only clicked the link in the first post, and all I can do is wonder WTF? I guess the mentality in America is quite different, but who in his right mind gives a damn about what some pixels say on the internet?
Fleeing home after some random idiots hiding behind computers post absurd threats on Twitter? That's retarded.
The lesson that should be learned from stuff like this is DON'T LIVE IN THE FKING INTERNET.
Who is Subtle? Sorry I don't understand your post at all.Subtle doesn't know what's going on and is quick to judge post.
