Yet another Tower Defence Game.....

So how do you guys do it? Do you just make one and take it all the way to level 10 or do you make 5 or 6 and upgrade them in order?

I swear it's impossible to beat the Frog map. I had like 4 level 10 Red Missles thing with a bunch of blue level 1s and I got destroyed by like level 38-39

When you guys use the memory editors to modifiy money what values/addresses are you looking for? I've tried using ArtMoney to find ALL values and it never works. I get down to the last few hundred possibilities and on the last sieve I lose all of them.

Is it an integer, floating, 2, 4, 8 byte, what?

I lost a crapload of lives on the last one, I know I wont make it further.
No matter how many different ways I try, level 46 is my limit.

I really dont think interest is that great. By the end I am spending all my money during the attack just to keep from losing too many lives. But the attack and range bonuses arent that hot either.
I seriously dont see how folks have millions of dollars by the end of the game.

you need to put the reds in a different spot and get the damage 'auras' they do wonders, especially if the reds are at level 10.

Are you accruing interest and then spending it?

I plan out what i'm going to do, hit send vectors so I get my interest and then do all my upgrades/new towers before they get to my defense point.

Oh yes, I let the money build.
The problem is I am never able to let a whole level go by without adding something. When they get around the last corner and I see too many of them I have to do a few upgrades on the final leg.
And by the last few levels I always had to spend all my money each time just to survive with one or two lost lives.

Start the game by placing the 1st level red tower at the right of your green tower. Then save up till you can put a 1st level blue tower next to that. After a few levels, put another 1st level red about 7 squares to the right of your original red tower, then add blue towers next to both red towers as you get more money. After that, just save up till you can buy a 3rd level red tower to put at where your level 2 purple tower is. Then it's a matter of saving up money and adding more 3rd level red towers and blue towers. Oh yea, don't bother upgrading the blue towers.

Download tsearch.exe. Start up Xeno Tactics and go in to a mission. Before you do anything, start up tsearch. Click the magnifying glass to see a list of processes and pick internet explorer or firefox, depending on which browser you use. Click the find button and do a search for 640. When it finds all the values, head back over to your browser and buy and place a single vulcan canon. Then go back to tsearch and do a find next for 600. You should now have only one entry. Double click it and edit the entry on the right and put in some huge number, like 400000 (what I used) and freze it. The next thing you buy and put down will change your money to 50,000.

There's no link, I had to figure it out on my own. Everything is multiplied by 8 (8 bytes in this case). So the numbers you're looking for are:

80 (starting credits) x 8 = 640
75 (left after putting down one tower) x 8 = 600
50,000 (credits you want) x 8 = 400000

Now, Im trying to get tsearch to work with Vectortd...cant figure out how to get the money to increase...

All the others are easy for me now. I can't beat any of the extreme maps. None have a nice u-turn area where you can bunch them up and once they separate, its too hard for you to concentrate the big hitters.
