lil rudeguy found a sweet looking mouse he wanted and I needed a power bank so I ordered them both and chose the free Prime 2 days shipping. I ordered on Saturday afternoon, so I figured I should see them Wednesday. But NO! Amazon screwed up and shipped them out on Saturday via overnight. So now my cool new stuff will be waiting for me when I get home. Less than 1 business day after I ordered them.

Screw you Amazon!

In other words...Prime is worth the money. Yes the movie selection sucks. Yes its $100. But the fast shipping pays for itself in a few uses.

Prime is only worth it if you care about the time it takes. Otherwise, I'd rather just wait until I have $35 in my cart (which isn't hard, a lot of items are > $35 anyways). So it takes a few days more to reach my house, so what?

I decided to give prime a try this time around because they had a sale to sell it for $72. I figured with a $28 discount I would give it a shot. Well everything I've come to find isn't shipping for free and it isn't 2-day shipping either. It's pissing me the fuck off. Anything categorized as a "grocery" item needs a certain amount of items first... THEN on top of that I have to pay a $6 shipping fee? Uhhhh what the fuck, I thought we paid for prime so we DONT have to pay anymore shipping fees? Yeah, I think I'm done with Prime already. Shitbags.

On the left hand side select Prime or Prime Pantry for free shipping options. Pantry is pretty cool but I hardly ever use it.

Prime Pantry is what I'm referring to. Why the fuck did I pay for prime if you still want me to pay for shipping for some items?

Prime Pantry is a new benefit for Prime members. You now have exclusive access to shop low-priced everyday essentials in everyday sizes. Adding this item to your cart will start a Prime Pantry box. Our Pantry boxes are large and can hold up to 45 pounds or 4 cubic feet of product. There’s a flat $5.99 delivery fee for each box. Buy as much - or as little - as you want, and get it conveniently delivered to your home.

They are constantly raising the price of Prime and constantly changing the rules. So no, I can't keep up with all of what the promotion does, especially when I don't have it.

I have never even used the extra Prime functions.
I just use it for the shipping.

That is a lie.

You have now proved you have some underlying motive or you are so full of ignorance that you don't bother to tell the truth.

I've been having issues with Prime this year. 4 items I've ordered have not shown up on time. I ordered an SSD and 2.5-3.5 adapter on Friday morning and it showed it would be delivered by 8 pm on Sunday. It's Monday morning and I still don't have the drive. When this happens, I send an email to Amazon and request a $10.00 credit. If you aren't going to deliver it by Sunday, then don't give that option. Hopefully if this keeps happening, I'll have my prime membership paid for. They've also missed a Saturday deadline as well. I figure I'm paying for this service, they should hold up their end of the deal.

Prime Pantry is all but worthless. How totally useless do you need to be to buy your groceries online? Even if their inventory covered all of the packaged foods you can buy locally (it doesn't) you can't buy 1/2 the things you normally buy at a grocers, like dairy products, produce, meat, fish and poultry.

Who are they using for Sunday delivery in your area?

Damn it all! Grand Rapids is a big city. We need Sunday and same day options!!!

People that hate their grocery store :|

I fucking hate grocery shopping. If I could minimize it with prime and not have to go every week that would be... much appreciated.

If you order things and don't need them with 2 days delivery, then Amazon offers you $1 in credit for instant video/mp3s.

AmazonFresh is the only real grocery delivery service amazon offers, however it's only available in Seattle, San Francisco, San Diego, New york, and Philadelphia.

My package using same day still hasn't arrived. It was supposed to be delivered by 9pm yesterday but it still hasn't even been attempted.

I don't order enough on Amzon to merit Prime. I'm mostly an ebayer. Never got screwed on ebay yet. Almost as a seller, but I terminated him. :awe:

Too bad scrooge ebay didn't haver better coupons and promotions. I've been a member since 2003 and I have NEVER got a coupon. And my seller account is above standard. All 100% feedback. Sure could use a coupon. Like to buy a bigger SSD for the desktop.

last week I ordered an SSD on Friday, it shipped Saturday and was scheduled to be delivered on Monday.

It arrived Sunday before noon.

2 orders before that, my deliveries missed the deadline by one day. I got on chat with Amazon 10 minutes after the missed delivery time on each event (usually 8pm), and they refunded the delivery (I had paid the extra $4 or $5 for one day delivery), and they refunded each one and gave me an extra month of Prime.

It's weird--I don't understand the point of paying extra for faster delivery, when it never arrives on time in my case (not the only two times that has happened), and tends to arrive faster than expected with Prime free shipping.

Does the system put you in the non-Prime member pool when you click on the faster delivery option?

Do you get those 4x ebay cashback promotions? For the longest time I wasn't getting any. Then I found out I have to enable marketing emails. I've since received a lot of those and have made some big $ purchases and gotten a good $300-400 in cashback last year.

amazon fresh is awesome. No parking lots no line and their delivery drivers have to climb the 3 flights of stairs so I don't have to.

And yes, I can buy all that shit from amazon and do constantly. They even deliver from some local butchers.
