YMMV: Seinfeld seasons 5 and 6 for $24.99 total

I have been looking for a deal on Seinfeld seasons 5 and 6, and saw that BB has season 6 on sale for $24.99. They also have a special Buy 1 get 1 free deal for some TV shows, Link.

Generally they will charge you for the higher priced set, but there seems to be a glitch where if they scan the lower priced set first, it will give you the higher priced set for free. I went tonight and picked up season 5 and 6 and then checked out, handing the cashier season 6 first. Sure enough, I got both seasons for $24.99 total (no sales tax in Oregon). It should work, but put YMMV in the title just to cover my a$$.

It worked for me for seasons 5 and 6. I ordered them online for pickup at a store, both of them are on sale in the link above. $24.99 total, no tax (NH).

Thanks. Yeah, as was said, they are both $24.99 online, so there is no problem. I order them for in-store pickup. So now in addition to seasons 1 & 2 and 4 (from Black Friday 2004 and 2005, respectively), I'll have seasons 5 and 6. Awesome!

When I looked online yesterday, I thought season 5 was showing up at $39.99, and thats what it rang up for in the store, so I was under the impression this was a better deal than some of you are saying... still a good deal either way, so enjoy!

Thanks Op, My favarite show. It worked for me. I want the whole collection but too bad, season 1 and 2 are $42 and season 3 and 4 $39.99 each. So I only bought season 5 to get season 6 free since both are $24.99. With tax the total is $26.93, good deal. Thanks Op

mine didn't have a sign, but the clerk knew about it
the price doesn't change until totaled though -- people are leaving that out
also, it's more than just seinfeld and stargate? good times, sanford and son, married with children...
