Fear is a strong vehicle for emotional appeal to a population that votes based on how the media tells them to think. Right now it's fashionable to be Islamophobic and and the right wing are taking advantage of it. Unfortunately, when those politicians get voted in and start implementing policies to line their own pockets, the same morons that voted them in will be the ones paying the price.

I am beginning to want all furniture to be nuked from orbit. It is such a threat that I had to drive screws into my brand new textured and painted walls to fix some tall pieces there. I'm still suffering from the trauma. My fucking beautiful walls ruined by drill holes.
