I'll have to go with the others who say Ireland. They've got a great quality of life there and most of the country is beautiful. The history is so in your face there (and many places in Europe from what I see). If my husband-to-be and I like it when we go in a couple weeks, we'll consider going back there again soon for another vacation and maybe eventually to live. You know, just for a change of scenery.

That's awsome. I'd love to have that opportunity.

I think more people should go live in another country for a few years. It would do a lot to break down the self-centered, narrow-mindedness that many Americans seem to have.

I have to laugh a bit about your 'almost no F'n illegals'. Pretty ironic statement given the origin of the modern nation of Australia.

I'd probably go to Ireland. I dig the countryside and weather, and there is NOTHING hotter than a redhead.

Unfortunately there aren't any countries where the government and social climate (ie civil rights) match my own preferences.
