I had that same problem also, zootallures...no discount showing, although it showed before finalizing the order. Never did get a confirmation, and cancelled my order. Trying it one more time.

zootallures, happened to me too.. I called and the lady said their systems were down for a few hours so she couldn't look up my order. She said that they'd be able to help again at about ~7-8am est. Also mentioned was that they respond to email over the weekend, so I fired off an email to customer service. I took a screen capture before and after showing that the discount was reflected before submission, but not after. Funny thing is, I received 4 different confirmations for the same order number (all emails showed the $10 discount)...

Well, I ordered them!

I haven't placed an order with OM before, so I got the $10 off $50.

CD's $45.00
Pen's: $4.59
Rubber bands: $.59

Total: $50.18

Now, take off the $10 coupon, a $4.59 MIR for the pens, and the $45.00 MIR for the CD's, as well as FREE DELIVERY, and they end up paying me,,,,,,,,,$6.50!!

The sad part is,,,,,,I have like 450 CDR's right now,,,,,,,,,I'll probably give some away, or maybe sell them on FLEABAY!

My CSR also said it's down, but that she will definitely cancel it when the system comes back up.

For the person that asked about creating a new account...I wiped all cookies, used same name/address/credit card, etc...just a different email address...and I got the new customer discount again (before anyone says anything, I am not trying cheat the system to get the discount twice - just had a problem with the first order and cancelled it).

Anyone have an experience with officemax and collecting on rebates. For example. I had purchased cdr's at best buy and the rebate never came. I went to the store with photocopies of all the stuff I sent to the rebate center and the best buy gave me the cash for the rebate right there. Has officemax ever done this for anyone?
