These cd's are not that bad. I've used them plenty of times on my crappy Memorex CRW-1622, and they burn fine, and play in my car changer, at home....honestly....best cd's I've ever had experience with.

If this was a rebate from OfficeMax I'd go for it, but it's from Prime Peripherals. I never received either of the 2 rebates I sent in to Prime Peripherals, one for a 50 pack of these same disks last year and another for a CD-ROM over the summer. They claim the rebate for the disks was cashed! These are the ONLY reabates I have never received in the past 3 years.

I'll never buy a Prime Peripherals product again - rebate or no rebate!

I recieved both of my rebates last time for this company on the deal they had last summer. (50pk, 80 min) and I believe the rebates were for 15 bux (Don't rem. exactly.) But recieved TWO rebates that I had sent in.

Like several of you I have been screwed out of several rebates by a fulfillment center Prime Peripherals has used in the past. I have also received rebates for Prime Peripheral products from other fulfilment centers, so it isn't Prime Peripherals per se, but rather which fulfilment center they contract with for a particular promotion. The center that uses two addresss -- one in New Rochelle and one in Yonkers, but the same phone number for both -- has never paid any rebate I submitted, and it took several before I learned that they were a ripoff center. This rebate goes to Randolf, MA which suggests it is a different rebate center. I gambled on a box of these CD-Rs but if this rebate doesn't come through I will write off Prime Peripherals since it appears they contract with some shady fulfilment centers.

I look at all rebates before gambling on them and if they are handled by the center in New Rochelle/Yonkers I won't touch them no matter what the deal is.

Man, this thread sure is long - you guys sure over over-analytical over some plastic disks you can get free. Did anyone actually goto their local store and buy them? I did - simple as 1-2-3 - and if the disks suck - who cares, I got them for free - if they work, all the more better.
