I'd go about this a different way.

I'd take one of the 5 remaining Auto Union-Grand Prix V12 D-Types. Its value has been estimated at more than $12 million. Granted, it didn't sell at that price tag, but surely it'd draw at least 10 mill. Regardless, it is supposed to be worth more then any other car in existance.

I'd take ownership and immediately call up Barrett-Jackson to auction it off to the highest bidder. Then I could buy quite a few of the nicest cars so far brought up in this thread - a few that I'd actually use as daily drivers, a house, a couple mill in invenstmensts and live the rest of my life in comfort. The rest of you would have a single nice car that will never be worth half of what this car was. And since most of you wouldn't be able to afford the car you got in this exercise, you'd probably end up selling it any way
