Motorola's crappy screens? They have the best color reproduction of ANY smartphone out there.
the pentile display is nothing but crap
prior to them they had great screens
not anymore

I agree with the first statement. The Galaxy S II is the first smartphone Samsung has ever produced that was more desirable than what HTC or Motorola had out at the time. The Droid Bionic by itself eclipses the SGSII in more ways than one. This Moto Dinara will probably wreck it in every comparison you could come up with given the release date.
Besides having LTE, what other advantage does the Bionic have over SGSII?
Wait am I out of the loop on this? SGSII won't have LTE or is that just speculation?
it really depends if VZW got Samsung to agree to change it or not
IMO even if its only 3g it will be the best phone released this year
Perhaps, but without 4g it's not an option for me. I think there are many others who are in LTE areas who agree with me too.
So far, the SGSII coming to Verizon with LTE is nothing but speculation.Wait am I out of the loop on this? SGSII won't have LTE or is that just speculation?

Where did I use "non-LTE" as a bullet point? My point was that you shouldn't be using "non-LTE" as a bullet point for an argument because it's not even close to a fact.
Where did I use "non-LTE" as a bullet point?
So in that case if it does come with LTE then the Droid Bionic will have ZERO advantages over the SGSII then which helps my original argument even better.
You still have not made any point.
Yes, the Bionic has a PenTile screen, similar to the screen (possibly the exact same) used on the Droid 3 and Droid X2. However, this PenTile screen is very different from older designs you may be familiar with (especially compared to older AMOLED PenTile screens.)Is Bionic going to have a pentile screen? I suppose I could google it myself.
Now on to the disadvantages. The worst thing about this screen is the "screen door" effect that's visible during animations. I'm not sure if this fault is directly attributable to the PenTile matrix or if it's due to poor refresh rate, but it is definitely noticeable and it's annoying. When swiping screens, scrolling web pages or watching videos, you will see diagonal "stripes" in the image. Once the image stabilizes or the animation stops, it goes away.
FTFY.it really depends if VZW got Samsung to agree to change it or not

OK, I may have exaggerated how bad it was. When I showed the screen to my wife, she had no idea what I was talking about and thought it looked great. Compared to the screen on her Fascinate and on the original Droid Incredible (AMOLED), this is still better. Of course, I still prefer the SLCDs on the Thunderbolt and Incredible 2.gfaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
KILL IT WITH FIRE
I don't think anything about this makes it a superphone. It is simply next-gen.
