Hahaha! I find it funny that they have to give away all these damn games to make people take an Xbox! And the games are all junk! Where's a deal with Halo or Project Gotham??? Those are the only 2 reasons I would ever buy an Xbox. Anything else, I can get on my PC or PS2!

Krackato - hope you're right one the price drops, I wouldn't mind picking up a GC on the cheap-cheap!!!

Are all you ppl forgetting about Splinter Cell? That's awesome game for the xbox, no doubt. If you r into the xbox live thing, then all the sports games and Unreal Championship is well worth buying the system.

I have no idea on why all the crap on xbox... after playing nba 2k3 on xbox, there's no going back to cheap *** graphics on PS2. hook it up to a HDTV and 5.1, you'll feel like you're on the hardwood floor.

ps2 got good rpgs, but sorry to say, ps2 doesnt support any of the above hardwares... so xbox is not ALL bad...

PS2 deals are suck.....I saw one at Amazon.com for the system and 3 games for a freaking 299!!
Screw sony if they are going to do that, ill get a gamecube....either way im getting something this christmas. I hope they do something before then like, umm Lower the Price?

Played PS2 and Xbox..... PS2 is low quality in both video and sound not to mention features compared to Xbox.

personally I think PS2 has good games but sucky graphics. Well I hedge my bet the day xbox came out that one year later (just like the ps2) it would begin having decent and awesome games. Well it's definitely starting to happen just like I predicted. Now if I did buy a PS2 then I sure as heck would trash xbox cuz I'd wanna feel good about my investment I made in PS2. I'm used to geforce ti4000 pc graphics. The ps2 looks worse than a dreamcast in some games. Heck I told my brother to buy an xbox but he wouldn't listen. He's happy now but give me a couple more months and well see who wants to borrows whose console.

Not to crap, but I seriosly doubt that they will drop the price now. They just released the bundle pack with Sega GT and Jet Set Radio last month and will be pushing that deal through the holidays. Earliest I see a price drop is in the spring when the gaming industry slows down a bit. The fourth quarter is not the time to drop, especially when you're already losing money on each hardware unit sold. The deal is pretty much the same deal as everywhere else, but you also get Amped which ain't a bad game. I say, get the deal and try to trade in the games for one that is really worthy of the system.

BTW, the games on the Xbox rock!
Halo, Splinter Cell, NFL2K3 and Xbox live are all must haves.

The reason you are not gona get a Halo or Spliner Cell or X Box Live combo is that those are what XBox has going for it. They need to sell you an xbox and how many games to make up their cost? They know you will buy Halo no matter what so why bundle it?

i love the graphics on the xbox, but where are the RPG's!!!!! ps2 seems to have all the good RPG's but i really don't think the graphics are all that great

Halo will be on sale for $29.99 at BB also.

Need I say that xbox-scene hosts files that let you hack your hd so that whole games maybe copied to them and then burned on dvd-r or cd-r? Need I say more ? I think the XBOX will go down in history as the 2nd most hacked console to date (1st being dreamcast).
