Guys, the scanners on the East coast are being shipped from the Ohio warehouse versus the Connecticut warehouse for which from Conn. there is next day delivery for coastal states (NY, NJ etc.) My scanner was actually shipped on Monday and I will get it on Thursday according to UPS tracking (I'm in NY). Just wanted everyone to know not to expect it on 3-5 EXPECT IT BEFORE!

I couldnt get the Streets and trips so I got Microsoft Picture It..29.95 - 15 rebate.

The rebate says not good with other promotions or offers. Could the coupon code be considered a "promotion" of sorts?

Great deal! - now I can throw away that POS scanner I have.

luv2chill I just print the submitted order page from my browser and that is the receipt. Have used it in the past with Staples and received my rebates without problems. To be on the safe side I would attach a copy of the email confirmation as well. My experience with packing slips is they sometimes list the price and sometimes don't.

Me too UPS showed up with it (supose to be here 3-5) and the crucial ram I bought from staples I'm in upstate NY...I just checked egay over 50 of these listed (haha).

One question do we use the packing slip as the receipt???

This is interesting. I ordered the scanner with the MS Street software. The MS software now shows up unavailable on my order. So I called Staples to see what's up. The phone person said that even if I don't replace MS Streets with something else, I will still get the $30 off $100. That means that Before rebates the scanner has cost me like, $50 shipped. So I'm not going to mail in both rebates, because I think it's pretty obvious that they are the same rebate. But this way I get the scanner for $20 after the scanner mail-in rebate.

Well, a slight update. 2 out of 3 phone people told me that the coupon still applies. And the last guy I talked to, actually looked at the order and told me it still applies.

The staples people also said to use the packing slip as the receipt.

I got my scanner yesterday, seems to work well. I think I'll keep it.

I ordered the scanner and a Microsoft optical wheel mouse for $30. With a $30 coupon that makes a mouse that I needed and the scanner for $15. Good deal.

They are not the SAME rebate. I've done numerous dual Staples rebates like this one. One rebate requires the original UPC, the other accepts a copy - they are intended to be used together - see the advertisment. There is no ethical or legal issue here as the promotion is exactly as stated.

Ok, I think I am having a problem here. In the rebate area of the staples web site, it list 2 different rebates for the 4400 scanner. One asks for the number #447103 and is good until march 3rd. The other one is for the number #44001D-WU and is already expired. When I ordered the scanner, it lists the sku as 447103, but the scanner i recieved today has 44001D-WU (the old number) printed on the upc (the rebate asks for the sku number). Am I just being crazy, or is this a real problem? Has anyone else run into this?

btw, this has nothing to do with the other rebeate from visioneer

No don't worry. I have the same thing. It's the model number that matters. We all bought the 4400USB. The sku is just for their stocking purposes. Send in your rebates and you'll get back your money!

Interesting viewpoint Lark888. Try going to the rebateshq.com website given on the rebate form from Visioneer. Then search for rebates under manufacturer, Visioneer. Funny how that is the same rebate as on the Staples site. It's nice if you can get away with it. No one will probably ever check. Just like cheating on your taxes huh!!

They are NOT the same rebates! So you aren't getting "away" with anything by submitting the 2 rebates. One is from Staples and the other is from Visioneer. They (Staples) are advertising both rebates in the Sunday ad!!

Also check the mail in addresses...they use the same TX address but different PO boxes. The company in TX is the 3rd party fullfillment house that handles lots of rebates for many,

Check out this patch. Before patching, MS S&T 2001 only updates GPS data every 15 seconds. Not too great for street-level mapping. With the patch, it updates every 2 seconds. Worked like a charm on my system, but use at your own risk.

Could you post or email a copy of the Staples ad where it says there are two rebates?

Does anyone know where Staples ads are posted on the net apart from iDealWwiz? They only have the 2/18/2001 posted which does not show the 4400USB scanner.

It might be worth keeping the ad in case Staples / Visioneer / Rebateshq decide not to honor the two $30 rebates.
