usb hub cannot provide enough power for a scanner, generally.

Had initially ordered the Monitor Riser with the scanner..but today I exchanged the monitor riser for Microsoft Streets and Trips.

MONITOR RISER DOES NOT QUALIFY FOR THE DEAL !! BEWARE.

Hey everyone,

Me again. I just ordered it and everything appears to be fine. No overnight delivery (not sure why) but it says that they'll be here by 3/5. I have a couple of questions though.

What are you guys using for a receipt? The order confirmation e-mail from Staples? From past experiences with Staples I know they include a packing list in the box, but it doesn't have prices or anything. Should I just call Staples and have them fax me a receipt?

Also, I am still trying to use up my e-stamp postage (which should end later this week) and want to print off the envelopes for the rebates in advance. I have the addresses for the two rebates on the scanner but the MS rebate is in the Streets & Trips box. Can someone who has already received the SW provide me with the address printed on the rebate coupon?

I'd really appreciate it.

I got the 4400 at the B&M on Sun with the V-tech 900 cordless phone ($29.95)
-$20 rebate. After taxes and a 30 off 100 coupon and the 2 $30 scanner rebates, I'm 60 cents richer (if I don't count the stamps). They had a lot of stock at the B&M's. It's worth a call to check.

To use the whatever-off coupons at the B&M, I print out the same or equivelent items in my shopping cart after adding the coupon code and bring this to the B&M. Whether they take the coupon or not depends on the particular store, as I have done this at 3 staples and only one would not accept it.
