So, a while ago they were charging $250+/month for internet/phone/tv.
Decided to cut off their tv, internet/phone is a little under $100 total. Yet adding back tv would be $30/month. They have no explanation for how the $250 wasn't a ripoff.
Today, my internet connection disconnected while being used. Their support eventually claimed they fixed some configuration on their end - with an unclear explanation.
I spoke to billing to get a credit, and they pitched a 'new service' of basic channels for $18. They mentioned Fox is included. I asked if MSNBC was. It took minutes to find out, but it's not.
So, this large right-wing corporation is giving preferential treatment to Fox over MSNBC.
I indicated I didn't want the package - and they pitched a trial. I said I didn't want it, and she argued that it's a good deal.
I asked to talk to a supervisor about the channel issue and she tried to say she could take care of it, no.
So she 'checked with her supervisor' for a while and said they were on a call that would last 30 minutes, but they'd send in my feedback after the call. I said I wanted a callback.
So she 'checked with her manager again' and they were suddenly off the call and available.
They offered a story about how Comcast is limited by the channels - suggesting that it's MSNBC refusing to allow them to offer the channel in the basic package. I don't think so.
How to raise the issue? The supervisor said the only information they have about the headquarters is the physical mailing address.
So this internet company selling e-mail service, offers no communication to its customers but a physical mailing address. He said that's correct.
