That was a solid list. Was gonna post 3 of those when clicking on this thread, and then Prodigy and Pearl Jam just made a heck of a lotta sense.

Just get rid of Iron Maiden and put in Michael Jackson. That would be a nice funky change of pace:

Prodigy
Radiohead
Michael Jackson
Led Zeppelin
Pearl Jam
Pink Floyd

KMFJD and I came up with the best lineup.

Put this shit on a concert tour and we are in. Substitute David Bowie for any one of those acts and you'll still be ok.

I'll take Michael, Zeppelin, and Pink Floyd. You guys can keep the rest.

It took me a few listens, but I warmed up to Event 2.

Oh yeah? Maybe I shouldn't totally forget about it then. I'll give it some more listens. I like "Talent Supercedes" and "City Rising from the Ashes" ("Look Across the Sky" for honorable mention) but to me nothing comes close to "3030," "Mastermind," "Things You Can Do," and "Memory Loss." I'm probably a little biased too cause I listened to that album a ton back in the day and it was a good time in my life.

My festival would be called The Pop Tour:

Check this out;

Nsync
Backstreet Boys
Britney Spears
Christina Aguilera
Spice Girls
Justin Bieber

My opening Act;

Naer (the DJ warrior)
Mayne (thinks he plays guitar)
Me! ( I play a little keyboard.)

How much for tickets? About $2k a ticket.

Robert Randolph and the Family Band to open. Ain't nobody can be down after an hour or three with them.

Allman Brothers Band with Duane Alman and Dicky Betts

Buddy Guy (at any stage in his career)

Joe Bonnamassa

Yonder Mountain String Band

The Greatful Dead with Jerry and Brent and Pigpen but not the Godawfuls

Should take about twenty-four hours straight so I will need some Jim Beam, some Mountain Dew, and some Depends.

I think I shall make a clip of VooDoo People my ring tone. Right now it's Surfin' Bird by The Trashmen.

Haven't thought about Blue Öyster Cult in decades. Saw them in the latish 70s and while I'm no fan of lights shows, it was an awesome performance.

BOC & Thin Lizzy were 2 bands i missed out on during their peak. Had some older friends that saw BOC several times & they always said they were great live shows.

All great picks imo but you'll need some nitrous oxide for the Dead.

Not sure I ever saw Thin Lizzy.

We saw The Devil Makes Three Friday in Atlanta's Variety Playhouse. Awesome band in a decidedly meh venue. Later this month we're seeing Steve'N'Seagulls at Nashville's Mercy Lounge. Love these small venues as a rule, if you can catch an act when they are still playing these.

Assuming the best of the best from each...

Primus
Rage Against The Machine
Tool
Alice In Chains
Suicidal Tendencies
Megadeth

If I was putting together a more mellow vibe it would be something like Doors, Hendrix, Dave Mathews, etc.

OK, I'm going to call my concert "AlternoFest", and I'm going to have these bands:

Cake
REM (Yeah, a reunion tour!)
Smashing Pumpkins
Red Hot Chili Peppers
Green Day
And Nirvana (With Zombie Kurt Kobain?)

Yeah, that's right. I'm bringing the 90's back, baby! Now that's how you really Make America Great Again!

Nirvana ( because Ive never met a person that saw em live)
Dio ( Because I passed up a chance to see him )
Pantera ( another one I passed on)
Rush
Pearl Jam
Tool

Hard choices. Ive seen the greatest bands imho so it would have to be bands I havent seen.
