You obviously have never worked fast food before. Days can get seriously hectic and draining. The system we used at our BK didn't have the ability to use the register to calculate change in the drive thru. Could be a second job, yes, but at least it is a job.

That is what I was thinking... my job is REALLY slow... and money is REALLY tight, so I have decided to go back to school... I am a grown up and will not take government handouts or llive off the boyfriends... I would work in McDonalds if I had to.

My uncle has schizophrenia, which was triggered as a result of his service in Vietnam. He worked at McDonalds for a number of years, which really pushed his ability to focus on a task and work without explicit instructions for everything. You never know what people have been through, so STFU.

B. He could have been retarded, hence the slow service. This does beg the question as to why he was working the register, but certainly isn't out of the realm of possibility. My mother works for a company that helps retarded adults get jobs in their communities.

C. Maybe he *had* a good job but got the shaft and this is the only thing he can get to make ends meet right now. Certainly not an uncommon problem these days....

D. This is far-fetched, but I did hear a story once about a guy who was a multi-millionaire but was so bored he got a part-time job as a pizza delivery guy just to have something to do with his spare time.

The moral of the story? Don't be a superior asshole and judge a book by it's cover.
