I think a failure is someone who sucks on the governments hind tit and not someone who actually does work.

thats why you put the amount you actually gave him in the original post, right? i mean, that would be relevant to your "point", would it not?

it doesnt matter how much it was, youre still an elitest, condescending schmuck.

Give him a break. He clearly does not have the highest mental capacity...but at least he shows up for work and tries to provide for himself.

Get over your elitest attitude.

Not everyone is the same as everyone so if someone is doing the best with what they got; what the hell is wrong with that?

That is what I was thinking... my job is REALLY slow... and money is REALLY tight, so I have decided to go back to school... I am a grown up and will not take government handouts or llive off the boyfriends... I would work in McDonalds if I had to.

At least the guy is working, no?

I would work at McDonalds too if I had to. A job is a job and there is nothing wrong with working and making and honest living. I don't have tons of money at the moment but for me there are far more important things in life.

OP is a fvcking idiot. Not everyone is as adept in math as everyone else. I could very well say the OP is a fvcking failure for not knowing the difference between your and you're, and there and they're...

Not only that, but there is a lot more to life than your job.

I think someone who is unfulfilled is a failure in life regardless what he/she makes and where he/she works. This guy at McDonald's could have the greatest/happiest family and he could lead such a fulfilling life that he doesn't care what your change is and doesn't sweat the small stuff. The OP might be able to learn from him.

i have the graviest office job you can imagine... i can literally go in and surf the net / forums all stinkin day and no one cares or notices. not at all times of the year, but currently. and sometimes i miss my old factory jobs which actually involved physical labour, or the fun jobs at Tim Horton's baking muffins, or cooking chicken @ KFC... actual work is great sometimes. only sometimes

working @ wendy's would be great for me because it happens to be one of my fave fast food places. let me guess, you got a double burger combo, biggie sized....

a job's a job... you put in your time at sh!tty ones but that's all it is. you move on

Bing Bing Bing.

People all have their unique histories that (along with genetics) determines their lot in life. This guy could have been a neuro-surgeon until his latent bi-polar started him down a path of rage and irrationality. I have an aunt who has a PhD and a once stellar career that was all thrown to sh!t because of hard core bi-polar. Now she lives alone in a crappily constructed house, living on a pension and the good ol' dole. She could theoretically work, but she would just fvck it up after a few months when she randomly didn't take her meds and then got into a fight with one of her asshat brothers over their almost comatose, yet once-abusive father.

This dude could have grown up in a closet, beaten with close hangars while his mother's bf yelled at him for being stupid. Our world has some crazy ass sh!t hiding in the dark. If you ever meet social worker ask them what kind of stuff they've seen.

wow, OP got owned...

atleast he is working, he might not be the sharpest knife in the cabinet. Atleast he is asking how much change he owe's you to give it back instead of ask you for change and keep it.

although I agree with the conclusion that the OP really has no place to talk, and only makes himself look like a jerkoff in this thread, I declare that he is wrong.

The failsafe way to know when you have failed at life is when you are asking what a girl's butt feels like on an internet forum

this is the most eloquent rebuttal in the thread, imo, and also probably the most eloquent thing i've heard in a long time.
