You live next door to a person that flies a Nazi flag in front of their house. Should anything be done about it?

I would probably either move or, failing that, just troll that person with my own flags. Maybe a giant "coexist" flag he would see from his living room. If he can't abide by someone promoting peace and love, anything he does is explicitly his fault!

Reality says if somebody is crazy enough to fly that I'm not going to screw with them. Last thing I want is that asshole and his asshole friends pissed off at me. I'm kind of on board with "do nothing". I just don't see any way to win. This guy is clearly deranged and likely violent....you can tell by the Nazi flag outside his house. What are you going to do? Gently encourage him to become not deranged? Get in a fight with him and punch him into agreeing with you? When someone is messed up enough to fly an actual Nazi flag, don't expect that fight to go fairly. Steal the flag? Maybe it could get you shot. Burn his house down? Go to jail for arson because you didn't like a symbol.

I did see some suggestions about getting an HOA involved or the city involved (if there's some sort of ordinance being broken). Outside of that I just don't see any way to win. Maybe I'm just not imaginative enough.

I thought move away first as well. But think of the hit your homes value would take with a nazi flag flying next door. You would lose a ton of money.
