Listen everybody, I initially posted this because of a minor observation that basically disturbs me. It's not like I have anything more important to post and i'm not about to start a national campaign to rid the higways of this country of cigarette butts, but.....
too all you people who think it's no big deal, well your right, it is no big deal - alone it's not going to create a signficant effect, but that's not the point that I was trying to make. It's the whole logic, and basic principle of this ugly practice. Let's face it bottom line is that it's littering, it's pretty damn disgusting, unsightly, careless, and irresponsible. It's just the tip of the iceberg, if your the type of person who throws your trash out the window, then in a nutshell your part of the problem and not the solution.
It's about the big picture boys and girls, it's really self-centered of humanity to think that we can 'destroy' this planet, we are just temporary inhabitants occupying a fraction of second in the life of this planet. I still choose however, while i'm here to live in a clean environment. If you want to live, work and play in an ashtray so be it.
