CC is possibly the best of the Black Friday deal makers. Maybe Staples is equal, but they seem to be getting harder to deal with lately. Just an observation. Last year scored well with deals from CC, every rebated came through like clockwork.

I remember an employee said at my CC that if we bought the item before it goes on sale, they would refund the difference and give the rebate form, or something like that. So we could actually but it before the 29th. Most of you probably know this but in case some of you don't know.

Its a good card, but the 8500 is still faster then it. Since the 8500 is prev gen, its cheaper too.

that would be nice, but rebate wouldn't work if it's dated for the 29th, since they're not issuing a new receipt. but if they do issue a new receipt, like "return/rebuy" then, everything's cool.

I was buying something two years ago during the after Thansgiving sale and commented that most FAR items were gone. He said that if I had bought it a couple days ago, I could have got it for today's price if I came back to the store. I guess this is YMMV but some people might get lucky. The policy might also have changed since then but some may get it.

Here's a few tips on rebate: we take rebates very seriously. If you don't get your rebate in the time frame printed on the form, call the rebate center. If not successful, talk to the supervisor of the rebate center. If not successful again, we will handle it in the stores (we are supposed to)
All purchases made from October 13 - December 31st have until January 31st to return (even on computer-related merchandise)
we will price match the net price after rebate. However, if it CC has a rebate, too, you will not get it, as a comment will be put on your ticket, which prevents you from taking advantage our system.
