No, the flat screen model is $340.

However, it is a clearly flatter screen that other low-end 27" TVs. The shape of the screen is similar to name-brand models (Panasonic, JVC) selling for $270.

However, there are no front inputs and since the regular price is $200, you figure the quality isn't so great. The remote control was basic. I wonder how long the warranty is because a lot of electronics these days have lame 90 day warranties on labor.

Still, for those on a budget, this is probably as much TV as you can get for $150.

supposed to be alphabetical.............just ask whoever is working in music, they should have a list that they can look at to see if we carry it. ok?

I also believe some of the top cd's are located on isle ends or in the front of the cd section depending on your store - btw I plan to pick up a few $9.99 cds myself

wow, so many questions, our CC is doing popeyes for lunch...
cuz only ONE person sent the store manager an email...
im scheduled all day... 6a-11p...
but thats wut happens when theyre only 4 CSAs....

our store got about 1000 of hte 1201s and we still got 1200s
and 1500s leftover from months before...
When our truck came in, we built like 3 pallets of apex dvds...
that trucked sucked too... and how did i get roped in doing a truck...
oh yeah, that lack of ppl again...
Did u guys get a surprise truck this sunday/monday?
We did, I had to come in at 7 to work on it.... :/

if u purchased something earlier and it goes on sale friday...
we will pm it to the current sale price
if a rebate is involved, we would have to return/rebuy it

however, we dont match Mail in rebates form other stores
we dont price match "special" sales but some managers might...
if u have already bought the item, we would be more inclined to price match it... but not always
if u buy extened service, we will always work with u...
if u give us the right phone number, we can lookup ur receipt...
we do not accept coupons
as i was making out signs for friday, and putting out games/music and fixing other peoples screwups,
i vaguely remember dvds on sale for a low price, like 14.99 or something, but that may have been someother store
Monsters inc will be 12.99$ and of course, MIB2 and Ice age are 14.99$
sigh...
me no like holidays....

I actually have one. It's a nice tv, the last one I had was a even more crappy 20" and I got this one on clearence for being a floor model for $179. Sold my old tv for $50, already had a $100 gc so all I paid for it was $40 or so, not a bad deal at all for me. The only real drawback I've found is that flipping channels take a long time, there is a noticable lag between when you hit the remote and when the tv actually responds. I tend to leave it on FX (MASH reruns) or the history channel so it isn't that big of a deal for me.

Dude, We will price match mail in rebates, too. Did you attend the meeting on Sunday? However, there are some restrictions. Again, we do and do not accept coupons, that depends. There will never be an absolute no answer in CC.

Some of the Black Friday deals are currently available on circuitcity.com. Some are sold out. YMMV
I picked up the laptop case for $9.99

Good luck!

we're not allowed to go OT
rebates? we dont normally match rebates...

We'll be needing a tv in our bedroom so I'm planning on going in there AT 7am (not gonna wait on line for it to open) for the 27" Apex. Think there will be any left if I get there exactly at 7am? If not, I figure we can still grab the 24" for $149 anyway...

I've been curious about the employee availability also. It was a mad house at other places last year... how would I be able to grab ANYBODY and tell them I'd want one of them tvs and to ring me up? Will there be a different process or do we still have to talk to sales guys?

officially we say we dont,
but once ur in the store we do...
during te normally year, our managers dont price match costco or do rebates
but for the thanksgiving weekend, we throw all that out...
if u buy something and say u saw it cheaper elsewhere well pricematch it
even without the the ad...
oh well, since im the one reviewing all the reports in the morning,
i dont plan on writing anyone up for bad price matches...
so...
anything goes...

im looking at gettint he WD 120GB...
gonna pm Costco at 149.99 - 110$ MIR = 39.99
buy at 199.99 - 110% diff for 144.99 -110$MIR = 34.99+tax and stamps...

Does anyone know if WD is packaging the 8MB ones in with the 2MB ones ?
THey've done it before....
Hope they do it again...

A while back, they had their 75GB drives with 80GB drives inside....

About pricematching with rebates or member store...: In the end, if the customer is happy, no decision would ever be considered as a bad decision. It might not be the perfect decision, there could have been a better one, but it would never be a bad one.

my store had 2 of hte cendyne dvd-rs...
weve also got a bunch of leftover qps burners and cendynes burners....
u walk into costco, they have the 120GB BB hard drive for 149.99...
theyve had it there for a couple weeks now,
jsut lke BB has the 120GB for 179.99

if u wanna buy something, just pull any sales man on the floor and tell them which item u want..
it helps to know the brand and model number up front
cuz then u just go up to the registers and tell them the brand and model number,
they punch it in, off extended warranty, get ur info and tender it out...
u pay, pickup/carry ur item and ur done
if u are getting a tv bigger than 25" PLEASE Do not bring a lil 2 door hatchback and ask us to squeeze it in....
big tv means big car...
common sense...

Ive gotten into trouble for price matching stuff before....
so im hesitant to make big price matches...
however since im one of 3 CSAs who can do the job,
i kno they wont let me go any time soon...
