Majik:
I think you got the wrong one. You got the PC100/133 256MB memory. The one you _really_ wanted was UPC 7 31969 20102 2, and it's marked on the front with a tan band on top where it says "Desktop PC133 (ONLY)". Further, the proper one will say for the model on the receipt: "MEI 256PC133ONLY."
I don't know how to provide session ID free links to the rebates (so I'll risk getting flamed for a "how to"), but
1. Go to CC website
2. Select "Computer Peripherals and Accessories"
3. Select "Disk Drives and Memory"
4. Click "Type of Storage Device" and select "memory"
5. Pan down until you get to the $59-59.99 ones.
I think you got the orange banded one for $59.00. You wanted the one right below it with the tan band. The tan band is free today (and the rebates are good thru tomorrow). You'll find both rebates to make them free right there.

Draggoon:
When you went in, you "pricematched." The operative word for CC today was to ask them to "rering" (in other words, they pretend like you returned the item, and then rebought it). When they price match, you retain all the old info. When they "rering," you get a new ticket number, dated whenever you had them rering.
Having said that, you'll probably still get the rebate (it sure as he11 wouldn't stop me from sending them in), but I would strongly urge you to retain all the packaging from whatever it is you bought, just in case you don't get the rebate.
Cheers
