Guilty! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pERrVMbsCfg
I loved this song then & still love the rhythm. For whatever reason, it also got me into listening to a little bit more jazz.
Always liked that, and I wonder if it relates to this in any way: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BdJgwf-_HGY

YES. Never owned it until the Napoleon Dynamite soundtrack, but it's easily my fave track on it. It also has a few other '80s gems, like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5HI_xFQWiYU

Just thought I'd also throw this out there:

The comments make me sad. Everyone only relates it to the Vice City game and some even talk about nostalgia...for the game...then one GTA fan says:

Kids.

lol The song, and VC soundtrack in general, was why I liked that game the best of the series. I mean when you realize that a game is pretty much the same no matter how many times they remake and repaint it, the music becomes one of the best reasons to play it...or worst. heh

Most of the stuff from the 80s that I love are not ""guilty pleasures" because they simply are truly good. (Iron Maiden, Motorhead, Slayer, Death, Carcass, Destruction, Sodom, Anthrax, Megadeth, Metallica.)

My "guilty pleasure" from the 80s, is without a doubt, Manowar. As they are both awesome, and also the cheesiest metal band in the history of cheesy bands.

No. It was the literal version of "Total Eclipse of the Heart." Hilarious. Comes up as "unavailable" for me now too but it worked earlier today.

It has something to do with how NFS4 quoted my post and the capital letters in Youtube video IDs, if you go back to my original post it still works from there.
Or heck I'll just post it again here, it is that good.

Oh yeah. It's the forums all-caps filter. If your post was all caps, it forces all lower case including the quote. This particular forum has an exception for "FTFY" but not LMFAO or whatever he said.

THis is awesome. You can search for other literal "narration" videos by typing the name of the song with literal as part of the search as well. but this one is one of the best.

It's quite a bit different than most "literal videos." Most of them make a literal video for the abstract lyrics. This one recreates the audio with the same level of professionalism as original but changes lyrics to match the already confusingly abstract official video.

Ah. Good suggestion.

Some of those literal videos are awesome - mainly the ones done by people who can actually sing!

The Aha one and the Tears for fears Head Over Heels one, and the Billy Idol white wedding would all fit the theme. Radiohead one is hilarious but the wrong decade though!
