My wife had a kid in her class named Shadynasty, Sha-dy-na-stee. I still prefer Shady Nasty.

This is no joke, but I mean...just looking at that name spelling, you're not gonna think "La Dynasty". Poor girl.

Not being able to say it properly is definitely the worst mistake. You could be in the waiting room half-asleep, some lady calls your name, and you don't notice because it's pronounced wrong. People will also think you're trolling them when you apply for a job. "Lady Nasty wants a job here :awe:"

I won't tell you what my middle name is but I have the same name as a famous wrestler! I like what he did for my name

<---- named "Garth." It's no LaQuifka or Fu'kwon, but it's hardly common, either.

At least my parents had the good sense not to simply invent a name nobody has ever heard before.

In the last 60 years, Garth actually achieved a ranking of 445 at its most popular....which was in 1954.

lol...My wife is a 3rd year pediatric resident, so she's told me of untold numbers of funny names over the past few years, including the "La"s, "Sha"s, "Ka"s...but other types of names as well. However, the one that takes the cake for me is where the parents didn't use a "comma to the top" after the "La":

Saw firsthand, back in the early 1990's, a black teen mom name her baby Female....because that's what the hospital had already named the baby was her reasoning. (On the bassinet the baby is in, a pink or blue card is attached to the top with sex showing until name is give. She was asked what name she wanted, said y'all already named her.....Female.....pronounced like tamale.
