My case is tiny, so hard to see much of anything besides the GPU. Fans, AIO cooler and so on are all behind it.

Good 'ol 7950 holding me down until Polaris arrives, assuming its fast enough for what I want. May have to wait for Vega.

My HTPC

Name: Liam Neeson
Case: Lian Li PC-C60
GPU: MSI GTX 950 Gaming 2G

Repurposed my i7 920 and Asus P6T Deluxe v2 and built myself a dedicated HTPC that plays back anything I could throw at it. Added in a Silverstone SATA III controller card, USB 3.0 card and a Samsung 850 EVO to get it up to date. Used a Thermalright AXP-200R low profile cooler to keep everything nice and quiet. The MSI card's fans never spin up unless under load and since I rarely (if ever) game in the living room it is dead silent as well. The GTX 950 has a built in HEVC (H265) decoder so it's basically the perfect card for my application. The Lian Li case takes the full sized ATX board and fits in with the other AVR equipment like it belongs there. Optical out to my Denon. HDMI out to the Panny. Configured to load up Kodi at boot. Controlled by Yatse app on my Nexus 6P. Freakin' sweet!

GPU: MSI GTX 970 Gaming 4G

Mainly a workstation that I game on occasionally. The 4790K is lightly OCd at 4.4Ghz. The GPU was a stop gap measure. My LG rez is 2560 x 1080 so the 970 works beautifully. I want to go 4K, but will wait to see what AMD releases with Polaris before making a decision. I will get a new monitor at that time. It's primary purpose will not be for gaming so it will not be cheap.

Where does everyone get their LED's? I've seen a few strips that don't look impressive in person, but maybe they look good once turned on. MicroCenter has some but hard to tell how good they will look when turned on.

Diggin' the case. Ever have any issues with GPU cooling when you had that quad SLI setup? I know the stock fan setup can be somewhat lacking once you stick a 2x120mm (or bigger) AIO cooler up top.

Thanks. The white braided cables are actually extensions that were purchased separately.

I agree, the 909 is amazing, but way out of my budget for a case. I haven't seen the 509.

Thanks man. Newegg is the only online reseller in the states to carry them now, and they sold out of their preorder for the white. It's only $89.

Holy CRAP its Friday! The machine below has caused much frustration to a great number o noobs. Boggwrecked. That's what they got.

New case and cooler, complete rebuild into a Thermaltake View 71 and added a Corsair H150i 360mm cooler to replace the old H100i. Tempered glass is very snazzy in person, impossible to take a flattering pic with an iPhone.

Anyone upgrade GPUs/Cooling/Cases? Let's see those cards in their habitat!
