Black Christmas is a Canadian horror/slasher film by Bob Clark and came out in 1974. It basically started the slasher genre.

Anyone recall Emmit Otter's Jugband Chistmas?

We drove my dad goddamn nuts with that one, every year. several times a day. It was glorious.

Yea we found it on DVD and my wife makes my kids watch it every year.

I was going to post that! It's really a cheesy chick flick, but lots of famous names. Martin Freeman looks so young!

Intelectually I mostly agree with the points the author makes, but I still watch the movie every year and tear up during the emotional parts.

He's fulla shit. It's a rom-com, not a freaking documentary.

The only one I really have to watch is A Charlie Brown Christmas. The rest are all just icing on the cake or the Christmas cookie.

i like the movie. a lot. not because i think it is romantic, but because it speaks to moments we all have in life; the unrequited love, the lost love, the temptation, lust vs love, loss, friendship, family. does it all wrap up rather conveniently? Sure does, but so what?

i'm sure that reviewer is a ton of fun at parties.
