The only reason I'm using 2200+ is my dad wanted a new pc and they had a nice deal at Frys so i just did a quick and easy processor switch

I thikn I'll make a switch maybe a year from now and find a nice tbred chip and a good heatsink and overclock to hell and I figure holding at 2.3 will keep me busy for a long while

I think that 486 66 Mhz had to be a DX chip, thus it had the math coprocessor, which your 486SX33 was lacking. True whether it was an Intel or Cyrix. I had the Cyrix, fairly cheaper but it did the job.

funny thing is that 3 of these (duron 800, XP1900+, and the A64 3200+) are still running everyday in my house and the rest minus hdd's are still in my basement waiting for me to resurect them into a linux cluster old computers are great fun.
