8085/8088 at 5 MHz Heathkit H-100 - I played around with the crystals on both of these but can't recall how far I went.
80286 Victor 8 > 12 MHz then 16MHz after swapping processor chip to AMD

AMD 486-100 - I know I played around with this too and think I got it to 120.
There was a Celeron in here somewhere. You're allowed to fall off the wagon once...

Sorry bud 1700+ Only has 256kb L2 Cache, Barton 3200+ (2.2ghz) Has 512kb L2, Therefor, even thogh the clock of your 1700+ is faster, the overall speed woud not.

XP2700+=2.17(TBred), XP3000+=2.17Ghz(Barton)

U proly got more of a 3100ish performance rating.

It's ok had the exact same Chip until 3mos ago, it ran like a champ.

Proly go with the P4 as Hypoer Threading is supposted to really help with encoding video stuff, (unless of course you can afford Dually Opterons )
